not close to anything great no fridge or microwave in the room. no visitors past 8:00 p.m. that's super lame and way to controlling very noisey place thin walls they do not offer breakfast beds are comfy though really clean place amazing staff though the front desk service is always pleasant I would stay again just wish they would at least have a mini fridge or microwave. do to that I would not recommend long stay periods but 3 out of 5 stars in my book

I did a 28 night stay and had zero problems. Yes, it is noisy but GET REAL, you know it is right on a street that is a major boulevard & freeway! I read all the guest reviews on this website and lots of whining about "lack of amenities"....well what do you EXPECT for less than $60.00 a night for a clean motel in Sacramento area???? This is a clean, safe motel and if you want a coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave in your room, then be prepared to pay a minimum if $100.00 a night in Sacramento. There is a microwave in the lobby and free coffee in the morning, so no whining, please for the rock bottom price offered online. Do not use the Good Night Inn.com website to get the lowest price, but search online at the various travel websites for around $60.00 a night, including tax. Daily house keeping always immaculately cleaned my room. Yes, it is a "bare bones" chain, but MUCH lowered price compared to local competitors. Considering there is a swimming pool, hair dryer in the bathroom, HBO cable, free coffee in lobby in the A.M. and a microwave in the lobby, what do you expect for around $60.00 a night including tax in Sacramento for a clean, safe motel room with 24/7 on site security guard patrol? Compare it to another competitor in same area and you will have to pay MORE for your stay.

Sheets and towels could of been cleaner if anything but overall had a good stay here !

This hotel was really good for the price. It's close to the freeway, clean and had plenty of towels. I would definitely stay again.

There was a blood stain on a pillow, and the room had a strong marijuana smell. My husband and I checked out early because I did not feel like it was a safe environment for our 10 month baby.

Asked for ADA room for disabled spouse, sink vanity restricted access, toilet too low, no shower or tub access for disabled person. Holding my deposit to accrue interest 3 days after checkout

Staff was really friendly. Room looked clean, though over use of chemical smells in the air, probably to hide some bad odors. Location is right off the freeway, easy access. Night guard on duty, felt safe.

No issuse except they gave us room on 3rd floor with broken elevators that day. I had my reservation for rooms 3 days in advance.

Comfortable bed, pleasant staff here. However, given the hotel's location at a highway off-ramp, if you are a light sleeper, make sure to ask for a room on the back side of the building. I didn't think of it, and spent the night feeling like I was at a monster truck pull or motorcycle race. The road noise is substantial.

The stay was just right for the money. It was a good stay over all.

The first night, I woke up without hot water. The hotel personnel did nothing to alert the customers. It was only after I phoned the reception that I was told there is no hot water. I had to go to my conference without showering. The second day, I came back and the cleaners did not leave soap in my room. I called the reception and was asked to go down to pick up the soap. It was about 11 PM after a full day at the conference. I just slept without showering. The third day, I noticed that the floor mat I left was still there. It was not replaced. The fourth day, the shower cloth I used was still in the place I left it in the morning. This confirmed my suspicion that the room was actually not cleaned. The bed is made the few items replaced, but I doubt my room was cleaned. I would not recommend this hotel. I would not return either. It was a disappointment.

No breakfast, very noisy as its off an highway. Decent bed and staff.

I use to come here quite often because it was affordable and clean but lately it's been gross. Their sheets and blankets smell like cigarettes even though I was in a non smoking room. I had to ask for a different room because the sheets were stained , and there was hair . The reassigned room looked clean. The next morning, I was changing then saw a small bug run across the bed , where I was sleeping. It was a bedbug!!!! It was still a baby as it was transparent but filled with blood. I put it in a plastic bag and gave it to the front desk and the man at the counter didn't even look at it and said there was no bedbugs. Then later said he will address the issue with pest control. Never coming here again !

The rooms were clean when we arrived. I was shocked to find that our rooms had not been cleaned when we returned at the end of the day after our first overnight stay. The maid came by at 9:30 am to collect the towels then did not return after we left to clean the room even though we did not leave the do not disturbed sign on the doors. The clerk said they only go back when they have a chance because they have a lot of rooms to clean. You can't expect us to be out of the room when she wants to clean it when you don't know when she is coming.

Only thing I missed having was a clock and coffee maker in room.

It's ok place to stay a few days , there are more hotels around to check it... Price was great..

I would recommend they get more modern day bedding.. It will brighten up the room and give my character. For me I like hotels to be eye catching. Even if it is not close to airport it still should be appealing to the eye. However, their current bedding and curtains in the room are dated and ugly. I like the large mirror they provide in the room, television and the shows available. The technology to charge multiple phones is nice to have. However, you only get one free night of internet and then you are charged 5.99 a day, which was not stated anywhere before I purchased the room online. They need to change that. Most places give you free internet. Additional charges for amenities is gouging the customer to me. The staff at the desk are very friendly and professional. gas station was very close and so was the hwy so that was very convenient. Management keeps the hotel safe and secure it is gated and requires access key to get parking lot at night.

Worst hotel ever! Found a used condom on the under the bed! Management was rude and unprofessional

Upper guest were loud some one punctured my tire on my car they said we used hotel phone which we didn't and charged me for it (HELLO THAT'S WHY WE HAVE CELL PHONES) overall stay was horrible

Like the title says. This hotel is ok if you're just looking to crash for a night but extended stays become an issue as there is no refrigerator to store food, no table to eat on other than the desk with one chair. The bed was uncomfortable and felt filthy. The water had a sharp copper smell to it, te AC didn't work or when it did was frigid cold, and the wifi would not connect to my iPad, iPhone or laptop and I was told I was close to the router. Staff was indifferent and rude. I will never stay here again.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback. It is really disheartening to read your review because it is not the norm at our property. Our staff strives to provide over the top service to each and every guest and apparently we fell short in that regard. We will continue to improve and we hope that you decide to stay with us again during your next visit to beautiful Sacramento City.

We encourage anyone who may be a light sleeper to let us know in advance and we can place you in rooms that have less impact from street noise when it occurs.
