Amazing. The staff was exceptional, especially the manager, Patricia the room was spacious and quiet and ravenna was my favorite place in all of italy. The shops and tours were great. Would stay there again

knowing the origins of our family

426/5000 I have chosen this beautiful hotel to be able to visit San Pancrazio and the villa of Russi. It was the best choice I've ever had !!!. The hotel is excellent, the food is delicious, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the internet is very good and above all else what I liked is the staff's special treatment in helping me to know the place and people related to the origins of our Italian family.

Nice place

I was working while vacationing due to the hotel' location their internet was very poor. So if you are only vacationing and no need for Internet. I highly recommend this place Great breakfast We drove to faenza to get on the Bologna train It is a small awesome Tuscany style villa. However it is in the heart of russi. I honestly didn't see anything resembling the picture posted on this ad. It maybe their other property

A nice hotel with a good size pool

A nice well-appointed and modernised hotel with a good-sized pool in an old country house. There is an excellent and friendly (Michelin Bib) fish restaurant La Cucoma nearby in same village so we did not try the hotel restaurant though it seemed full of satisfied diners. Breakfast was a decent buffet with nice local cakes though little in the way of meat and cheese as (small) serving dishes did not seem to be replenished when finished.

Lovely hotel and staff treated us like family.

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful area away from the crowds. It felt like we were visiting a friend's home instead of a hotel. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and are totally focused on providing excellent service.

Charming hotel, nicely decorated with some interesting paintings. Friendly staff. Restaurant had good service with fairly good food and they were happy to cook our fresh cepe for our evening meal. Good advice re things to see and do. Nice balcony from room with table and chairs. Nice swimming pool. Easy parking.

The owner and her daughter Susanne were the best. Very helpful. That went out of their way to accomadate your every need. Check the cost for services such as laundry. They can be very expensive.

Perfect Couples Retreat

Beautiful Hotel located in a small rural area of Tuscany near the village of Ruzzi. The hotel was very clean. Staff and owner really nice and friendly and helpful; especially with the children. This would be a perfect hotel for business or couples, but not so much for children as the bedrooms did not have an option of separate sleeping area to living area. The food was fine dining and of a high standard and very well presented. The average dinner for two adults and an 8 year old worked out between €80 to €90 per sitting. There was no children's menu and again this is because I guess this hotel is more designed towards couples and not families. We ate out most nights in Pizzerias and restaurants nearby which catered more for families. There are plenty of good ones a five minute drive from the hotel in the village of Ruzzi. In summary, an excellent hotel for couples with a service of a very high standard. If you like the personal touch, this is the hotel for you. Your partner will be impressed.

Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was great! I was here on business but my fiancé was along for vacation. The staff was very helpful from suggesting cities to visit and how to navigate by train. They definitely made you feel welcome. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We were treated with great care and courtesy. The hotel is beautiful, full of flowers and its gardens lovely. The food was quite delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel in the country side

It is a small hotel in the country side and being a seasoned traveller would rate it as a bed and breakfast. The staff is cordial. The hotel is in countryside and it took me a lot of time and effort to locate it even with a gps and a few phone calls to the hotel. If you are not driving or have a car, I cannot imagine how I would have got there. The breakfast was prepared for us only. They had eggs but all else has to be ordered a day in advance if u need it even cheese. The rooms are small and have a balcony. The bathroom was good and clean but the shower was very very small.

Having read the previous reviews we decided to stay here for a five night stay in early July and we were not let down. We arrived late in the evening and despite the kitchens being closed were offered a quickly prepared light meal (delicious) served by the owner herself! The bed was exceptionally comfortable with very high quality sheets and pillow covers, all spotless, as was the rest of the room and bathroom. The staff were very friendly and eager to look to our every need, what I would call genuine caring service. After a busy day the swimming pool was an oasis to come back too or just sit around passing the time on a warm day. As stated in many other reviews, the peace and tranquility stand out as a real bonus. The food quality is top end restaurant grade, the breakfast buffet is extensive and we were offered 'bacon and egg' every morning. Dinner was fine eating, but if you prefer a pizza, piadini or a more extensive menu, Russi is only 5 minutes away in the car where there are many places to explore. Do not miss visiting the old Roman Villa which has recently been excavated. Final word if you are visiting the Ravenna area and nearby coast and like a bit of peace stay here. It only takes 30 minutes to get to the town where there is a huge all day car park for only 3 euro.

A Great holiday hotel

Excellent welcome and service in a very peaceful and special environment. Whether it be the fantastic breakfast served out by e pool or in the dining room, the comfortable, clean rooms, the warmth of the owners and staff, the family atmosphere ... It was special in every way. Truly a home away from home but with better service! We will return and recommend it to anyone for a relaxing and peaceful break.

Wonderful place in an out-of-the-way location

I booked this hotel thinking it would be good to be away from the busy-ness of the surrounding Ravenna area. It's located in a fairly secluded little neighborhood north of the town of Russi, which is about 8-10km from Ravenna. I took trips into the city by day, and found it a nice, quite place for me to get some work done in the morning, and travel places by day. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, and the furnishings tasteful and beautiful. There's a lovely pool, and a nice garden area. The room was small, but comfortable.
