Our house is tucked away in the quiet little hamlet of Russbach-Gseng. The village and surrounding area is set amongst some stunning scenery and is a great venue for a memorable holiday. Whether you are looking for a place to get away from it all, an adventure packed holiday or somewhere to enjoy with your family and friends, this is a special place.

The house is about 200m² and the layout is great for two or more families. It consists of:
Ground Floor:
Entrance hall, very large garage (the other is kept locked by owners), boiler room (wood pellet boiler), wash room (recently re-decorated), cellar.
First Floor:
Wide entrance hall, kitchen, larder, sitting room, dining room, double bedroom, twin bedroom (bunk beds), toilet, shower room, 2 large balconies with excellent mountain views.
Second Floor:
Wide landing, two twin bedrooms, double bedroom with access to third balcony, family room (double bed and single), bathroom.

A lovely home ideally situated close to slopes with a brilliant view

I had a wonderful time staying in this very spacious home, everything was great, booking was easy, I made a few changes that were accommodated for and responses were very prompt. The group arrived in sparse groups but we this was accommodated for and even though I was not present there was no issues and we managed to arrange for the first group to gain access. A number of things that should be advertised that were not, the garage fits two large cars, which suited us perfectly. The drive was cleared by the local plough driver at around 0930 (when required) which meant we were able to leave and arrive at the slope (which is only a 5 minute drive away) at a decent time in the morning. Alex and Lucy were always very polite when I had enquires and provided a very informative pack (by email) prior to arrival. Thanks so much for having us and I'm sure if I am back in the area I'll be contacting you again.

The location of the Balls home in Russbach is great!

The house was perfect for a large family gathering. Except for a couple of mechanical issues our stay was ideal. It is located at the edge of Russbach which gives it the feel of being in the country. A lovely stream is across the street and we had free use of the Wasserpark pool in town everyday because of our rental. We were located in between Abentau's alpine slide and Golling's waterfall on one side and Hallstatt and Gosausee on the east. We enjoyed many outings. The hiking in the area was great. Please be aware that besides once a week garbage pick up, you are responsible for taking your own rubbish away. We found this very inconvenient since we were trying to leave. All in all it was a wonderful rental in a quaint village.

Rustikales Haus mit Charm

Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und für den Preis unschlagbar. Es ist schon etwas älter und ein zwei Dinge könnten mal renoviert werden. Für eine Woche Skiurlaub ist es aber super und gemütlich.

Unser Aufenthalt war grandios. Das Haus hatte alles was wir benötigten, war sehr sauber, allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das störte nicht. Unzählige Spiele, einen großen Balkon, Garage, Gebrauchsutensilien wie zb. Müllbeutel, Gewürze uvm. waren vorhanden.Der Nachbar war immer bei Fragen erreichbar und konnte uns jederzeit weiterhelfen.Gerne wieder :)

Eime Woche Erholung

Wir waren das erste Mal in dieser Unterkunft. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig an einem Bach. Besonders gut hat uns die grosse Terasse mit Blick auf die Berge gefallen. Insgesamt ist es etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte an der ein oder anderen Stelle renoviert werden. Der Empfang von Sepp war herzlich und unkompliziert. In der Nähe gibt es viel zu erleben. Das Naturbad war unser Highlight.

Gemütliche Unterkunft

Wir kannten die Unterkunft bereits. Waren letztes Jahr bereits sehr zufrieden. Einige Renovierungen würden vorgenommen. Alles in allem aber weiterhin ein großes Haus im 90 er Charme. Für uns absolut ausreichend mit genügend Platz und kurzer Weg zum Skilift. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder.

Sehr viel Platz

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit: Erwachsene und Kinder haben es genosssen, so viel Platz zu haben. Die große Terrasse war auch herrlich in der Sonne für groß und klein. Und sehr praktisch ist der große Waschraum im Erdgeschoß, in dem man Schuhe und nasses Gewand gut unterbringen kann. Dass einiges in dem Haus schon recht in die Jahre gekommen ist, hat uns nicht gestört. Einfach zu verbessern wäre aber Folgendes: Mehr Haken oder Stangen in den Badezimmern für Handtücher, sowie Haken, Regale und auch Tische in den Zimmern wären praktisch. Es gibt wenig Platz, wo man Dinge verstauen kann. Auch in der Küche oder im Ess- und Wohnzimmer sind die meisten Laden und Schränke voll. Aber wir haben uns arrangiert und waren mit unserem Aufenthalt und der Betreuung durch Sepp sehr zufrieden.

Wunderschönes Haus in toller Lage

Wir waren mit 3 Familien in diesem sehr geräumigen Haus und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles was man benötigt ist vorhanden. Die Betreuung durch den Hausverwalter Sepp war sehr zuvorkommend und zuverlässig. Ausflugsziele und Wanderungen sind zahlreich vorhanden, mit der Gästekarte auch einige Rabatte möglich. Ausdrückliche Empfehlung!

Fijne grote woning, wel enigszins verouderd

Het is een fijne ruime woning voor een grote groep mensen. De ski bus stopt vlakbij maar het lopen naar de piste is zeker ook te doen. Het is een mooi gebied om met de familie te gaan skiën. Er is weinig apres ski aan het einde van de dag, maar daar kiezen wij dan ook niet voor. De woning zelf is fijn maar wel verouderd. Dit mocht bij ons de pret niet drukken, echter is het wel fijn als de veiligheid niet uit het oog wordt verloren. Zelf de douchekop op eenvoudige wijze gerepareerd zodat deze opgehangen kon worden. Ondanks melding vorig jaar geen vernieuwing(en) van badkamer. We komen zeker terug.

Eine tolle Woche im gemütlichen Ferienhaus

Kommunikation mit Vermieter vorbildlich. Check-in Top! Danke Sepp. Lage perfekt- 2 min mit Auto zur Liftstation. 5 min zu Fuss zum nächsten Restaurant. Haus mit genügend Platz für 3 Familien a 4 Personen. Die Einrichtung ist zwar in die Jahre gekommen. Das hat uns aber nicht wirklich gestört. Der Teppich im oberen Bad sollte vielleicht mal entfernt werden (ziemlich retro;)). Sitzkissen im Essensraum unbedingt mal tauschen. Das ist aber weniger Kritik eher als Hinweis zu verstehen, da wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis trotzdem super. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Een ruim en goed ingericht woonhuis. Geschikt voor grote families.

Eigenaar en naast wonende beheerder doen er alles aan om verblijf aangenaam te maken. Huis wordt langzamerhand vernieuwd, maar zeker met kleine kinderen is dit geen probleem. Zeer goed bevallen, als vrij is zouden we zeker weer komen.

Spacious and comfortable house near to the ski resort

Great stay for a skiing week in this house. It was very spacious place with many bedrooms, separate eating room, big kitchen and lounge. In the ground floor there are laundry room and huge garage for two cars. It is also place, where you can store all the skiing equipment.The host Alex is very kind and communicative. Neighbour Sepp is also very friendly and "happy2help" person. If you'd like to spend great holidays, definitely go to that place!

Schönes Haus leider in die Jahre gekommen

Erste Anzeichen zur Renovierung waren die neuen Fenster. Leider scheint dann ein Renovierungsstopp gekommen zu sein. Das Inventar, die Möbel und Böden bedürfen dringends eine Erneuerung. Die Beschreibung 3 Bäder passt auch nicht, es sind ein Wannenbad mit WC, ein Bad mit Dusche und Waschbecken und eine separates WC. Sepp der Betreuer des Hause ist sehr nett und Hilfsbereit. Die Nähe zur Liftstation ist für Familien mit kleinen Kindern Topp. Sollte diese Haus mal renoviert sein könnte mann es mit ruhigem Gewissen empfehlen.

Das Haus ist super und wir waren schon öfter dort, allerdings sind die Teppichböden schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und vor der Toilette nicht sehr vorteilhaft und auch hat man bei den Stühlen Angst, dass sie zusammenbrechen. Aber ansonsten ist alles super und der Hausverwalter kümmert sich hervorragend um alle Belange . Wir kommen wieder.

A nice spacious house and fairly central.

A house that still needs some love regarding modernization. There were some old chairs, a shower enclosure secured with duct tape. No shower wall on the bath, so with a large group often dependent on 1 bathroom. Nevertheless, we would like to come back here again. Lovely spacious house, central location, nice host, excellent communication. Worth repeating. We also love this area for our family.
