This property completely lived up to our expectations. It is beautifully restored. The hosts were wonderful. The Cooks Country provenance is fantastic for pbs cooking buffs. It was everything we wanted from our trip to Vermont.

Stunning! Cozy!

Just perfect! From the moment we drove up to the house! It was festive and fun. We came for the leaves and a small town vibe and this house took it to a new level. We’ve never stayed in a better house. Loved the vintage vibe and all the personal touches. The property manager had placed fresh flowers throughout the house for us. The kitchen was amazing and made for some fun cooking. The property was unbeatable! We plan to come back!

Vermont Reunion

Ideally located for us, beautifully updated and maintained. Everything we could have wanted was there for an extended family week long visit including fresh flowers in vases, gorgeous gardens and protected sitting areas. We were delighted with our hosts who are easily available and flexible. We definitely would recommend and plan to repeat.

Wow! That was our first reaction when we pulled up to the house! This stop was in the middle of a 10-day trip, and my family wanted to cancel our other plans and just stay here. The house is gorgeous, the property is stunning, and Sarah and Brett were awesome! We truly enjoyed our stay here and would love to visit again!

5 Stars and Strips in Rupert !

What a wonderful 4th of July Holiday with Family WE ALL fell in LOVE with this country farm house. CHARMED and DELIGHTED by the unmatched hospitality of owners Brett and Sarah. The beautiful gardens were an unexpected summer sensation enhancing not only the our days but our romantic fun filled evenings surrounded by fields of dancing fire flies !!! Did I mentioned the wonderful nightly bonfires and unmatched hospitality BRAVO SARAH & BRETT !!!!! And, SEE YOU SOON !!!

Quaint and modern commodious property

We loved our stay over a long holiday weekend. The house and property were better than we even expected. It’s a historic house updated with modern conveniences. The kitchen was a highlight. Our group of two families with nine people loved it. There was plenty of space. The layout was great. The hosts were friendly. The cleaning was immaculate. The property epitomized rustic, historic luxury. Our two families were there for four days and we’re already talking about going back either next winter or even in summer. It was great value even at slightly more distance to skiing than some other places. We’d do it again.

Amazing home and property

What an amazing stay we had in West Rupert at this incredible home. Kitchen is phenomenal. All it is cracked up to be. The owners are excellent hosts: fresh eggs, a pie, cookies, a bon fire made for us on the second night. History and modernity all in one. First time to Vermont. Can't wait to go back and hopefully stay here again.
