The staff was exceptionally nice, the room needed some paint in some areas, but other than that it was ok. The hotel was a bit far from all the main sites and transportation was always an issue so I had to walk about 40 minutes to the city center. The area is a bit creepy and scary at night.

For us the location was fantastic. Nice and quiet with the tram and bus almost at the doorstep for easy travel. clean rooms,great breakfast and very attentive and obliging staff. Great family restaurants within walking and only a 10 minute walk to the famous Trastevere eateries.
