For how highly rated and expensive this property is, there’s no staff on site for 24 hours which was frustrating. The staff member we interacted with was very nice though. Good location

The communication from the manager of this hotel was so great. She checked in a few days prior to our arrival via WhatsApp check-in was very quick and efficient and staff was very kind and attentive. The room itself was much larger than I had imagined based on pictures I was very! The location is very convenient with most places within a 10 minute walk. I would highly recommend this hotel for the size of room, cleanliness, friendliness of staff and ideal location.

We stayed at Relais de l’Opera for 3 nights and overall the stay was fine. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, which made the stay more pleasant. The location is truly perfect, within walking distance to everywhere, with plenty of lovely dining options nearby and a great café just downstairs. However, the rooms would really benefit from a proper renovation. While it was clear the staff did their best with cleaning, some issues could not be resolved without a full refurbishment. The entire floor also had a strange smell, and the interior design was not particularly appealing.

Such a charming property close to everything in Rome city center. Very clean, comfortable bed, great shower, friendly staff and easy check in experience. Less than 20 minutes walking to just about every major historical site in Rome with lots of restaurants very close.

The good: they have good working air conditioning. The shower has good water pressure and hot water. The staff were friendly, but there is no visible office or desk - the one our floor was closed door the entire stay. We even called reception from our room and let it ring and ring and ring during their claimed service hours but no one answered - kind of sucks to not be able to contact an employee of the hotel when you need something - you are basically on your own. Bring ear plugs, the street noise even on the 3rd floor was loud and lengthy and disturbed sleep repeatedly. Overall okay for the area, I would stay here again if I had to, though I would probably look for a chain hotel instead of a "guest house" style hotel the next time I am in Rome.
