We stayed here for 3 nights...Very clean ...staff very friendly and helpful. Convenient for trevi and Spanish steps we walked to colusseum took about half an hour with stoppin for coffee. We also walked to Vatican took an hour. All I would say is take comfortable shoes.
We stayed here for 4 nights, everything was perfect. The rooms are tiny but comfortable and clean, the stuff are very nice and helpful. The roof on the top is cosy. If I have to say one negative thing: Unfortunately the hairdryer was useless. But all in all very good place.
pleasantly surprised- on arrival reception was small, lift was very tiny but once in the room it was spacious and comfortable. staff were friendly and very helpful. hotel is ideal location for exploring the city. would stay again.
We stopped here for 3 nights in March as a belated wedding anniversary treat. It ticked all the relevant boxes - convenient for some of the sights and hop on hop off buses and metro station. We arrived on Friday evening and within a few minutes were ensconced in our room after a quick and easy check in. The room was comfortable and clean with en suite shower room. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Breakfast on the top floor was pastries and cereal but was more than adequate. In terms of location, we were about 10 minutes walk from the Trevi Fountain, the pick up for the hop on hop off buses was slightly closer as was the metro station. From the Metro station the Collosseum is reachable in about 15 minutes. In summary, this is a compact traditional Italian hotel with friendly helpful staff which I have no hesitation in recommending.
We love this place! The staff is so welcomming, helpful and nice :) The hotel is cosy, and just a few minuitts walk away from so many of the things to see in Rome :) We have stayed here three times, and we recommend this hotel big time!
We reserved this hotel as it was exactly in the heart of the city. We expected that the rooms would be a little larger, but finally it was more than ok. As after 9-10 walking daily we needed nothing more than a clean and warm bath and a comfortable bed!! And we had it!! Now, about the breakfast. It was ok BUT what it mattered more for us was the smile of Patrizia. What a kind, helpful and adorable person!!! MILLE GRAZIE PATRIZIA, NON SOLO PER IL CAFFE!!! LEI E MAGNIFICA!!!! The persons at the reception??? Each one a wonderful and helpful person. Advising us where to go, what to prefer, what to avoid. Excellent!!!! If I visit Rome again, I would chose the same hotel for sure and without searching for something else! GRAZIE A TUTTI VOI!!!
A lovely hotel in the heart of the town centre and well within walking distance of the main attractions. Hotel itself is quite small and the only refreshments are on the 6th floor but there is an elevator, staff are very helpfull and the place is very clean and tidy, housekeeping are well up to standard.
We stayed here in Feburary, on a wowcher deal to watch Wales play Italy.. We booked a budget room and then found my partner couldn't get into the shower, we were upgraded with no problem... The bed was very comfortable, we had separate toilet with bidet and a very nice shower, which included a hair dryer... The room was clean and the staff so obliging.. The breakfast was very nice, fresh croissants, hard boiled eggs a selection of breads, cheese, and bisquits... Fresh delicious coffee... No tea making facilities in the rooms... €4 pppn tourist tax... It was central to so many of the things we wanted to see, for the rest there was the hop on hop off buses €16 each, great way to see Rome.. A bonus Wales won...
We have just stay here for 4 nights. It's a basic place to stay but we found it very clean and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. There's no kettle in room but you can go up to the 6th floor and make drinks there. We would recommend this hotel on price cleanliness, location, and staff. Breakfast was mostly pastries but very tasty.
Quaint and old-fashioned hotel in a fantastic neighbourhood of Rome. Not luxury, but not too basic either. We found it easy to get here from the airport, just 2 stops from Termini station. It's very close to the metro stop Barberini, and it was really worth being close to a metro station as this meant it was easy to get to the Vatican and the Colosseum by zipping around on the metro. The neighbourhood felt very safe and there were lots of good restaurants, bars and gelato places very close by. It was a short walk to the Trevi Fountain - about 10 minutes. So easy to get around and see everything. The room was a good size and the bathroom was nice. Breakfast was functional - bread, pastries etc. Nothing special but good enough. This is a good value hotel in a great neighbourhood with friendly staff.
