It was a great experience and the location of the hotel was excellent
This hotel is very close by the train station, subway and city tour bus stops, the room was big. hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
1 block from train, subway, bus station. Very convenient location. Within 1 mi of review, Spanish steps, coliseum, forum, many churches. Excellent staff, clean spacious rooms. Older building, but renovated and maintained nicely. Good price usually.
very out dated hotel. ac in our room not working well. came back at midnight after a full day and no power in the room. bellman was less than helpful. we had to switch to separate rooms in the middle of the night simce they had no larger rooms available. not a good experience.
one block from the main train station and car rentals. 10 minute walk to the colliseum. great breakfast and a nice gym. lots of restaurants around the corner. good sized room and bathroom.
Hotel and room nothing out of the ordinary. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Checkin was painless and the room was clean and more spacious than other reviews lead me to believe. The location was top notch! 3 min walk from Termini and close, walking distance to major tourist attractions (like Colosseum). Great for short stay in Rome!!
I was a little worried when I ordered this room next to the train station but it was in a fantastic location!! Not only could you hope on the Metro, but the hop on and off buses were also right there! If you wanted to walk, you can walk to all the regular tourist attractions. The colosseum was only a 10 minute walk away!! The breakfast was buffet style with lots of choices. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. All in all we had a marvelous time and were very happy with the room!!
The Hotel Atlantico is nicely located a few blocks from the Termini train station (which makes it convenient for getting to various locations in the city) as well as a variety of restaurants and the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. And the included breakfast was very nice. Based on things we read on the web, there was some concern that being near the train station would be a problem, but we didn't find that at all. We felt quite comfortable walking around, getting on the Metro, etc., and have no problem recommending it for those looking for a place to base a trip to Rome at a reasonable price.
Selected hotel due to reviews and location near train station. We were very pleased and would stay there again. Breakfast a plus.
