My wife and I stayed 8 days, Nov 6 to Nov 13 2017. We were placed on the 4th floor, and elevator was out of service 1st two days. Day 2 it was about 20°, and at one time our car showed 11°, window in room would not shut completely, wind would blow curtains in room up.This caused the heater to run constantly. Talked with desk, he offered a room on 2nd floor, window had same issue, but was worse, so we stayed where we were. Web site pictures misleading, renovated areas were nicely done, but incomplete. Hotel staff were great, and did everything they could possibly do, but these things were not within their control. Hallways were extremely dirty, room closet had no place to hang longer items like coats or dresses. For the price you would think there would be a continental type breakfast, but they didn't even serve a real breakfast in the restaurant. Our room was advertised as a "Deluxe" room, had no refrigerator or microwave, which many basic hotels rooms offer. The only reason we remained was because we were attending a marriage conference at the hotel conference center. I will not stay there again, nor would I refer this hotel to anyone. Estes offers so many nicer and less expensive options, this is not worth the money or stress. The only reason I am giving a two rather than a one is because of the staff personnel, they were very nice.
We stayed at The Ridgeline Hotel during the off season as far as snow and ski weather but had a really nice time. The renovated rooms, lobby and restaurant are so nice and we enjoyed traveling around town and the little shops and a trip to the national park at Bear Lake. We would definitely stay here again if we are able to go back to Estes Park.
A family emergency caused us to have to rebook the date for our get-away, and the hotel staff were incredibly accommodating! When we arrived I realized this was the old Holiday Inn holidome! Lobby area was lovely with free make your own drip coffee. Staff were friendly and efficient check in. We stayed in part of hotel that allowed pets. Nice big room and area around hotel nice for walking little dog. All in all, we were very pleased and would stay again.
This Hotel has recently been renovated. We had stayed there before, a couple years ago prior to the remodeling. The lobby was great. The room- not so much. The beds were extra firm, no topper that I could tell Very uncomfortable in our opinion and we stayed 4 nights. There is NO microwave or refrigerator. I could not reheat my coffee or keep left over food to take home! Those two things were upsetting. They are big on recycling which is nice but other than yoga mats give me a microwave! The old elevator smells of hot rubber just as it did a couple years ago - first impressions literally stunk bad. There were blood spatters on the shower curtain, those should have been noticed! There are too many clean motels in Estes to pay bucks for this one. Oh and watch your bill closely. We were quoted one rate on the phone and charged more on checkout. No discussion — they would not budge -so we will not be back. There was one handicap parking stall at our entrance-the others had port a potties parked on them! Was not easy in the cold wind for sure.
We've stayed here the last two nights and we've been more then pleased with our stay. The lobby, coffee bar and front desk are very inviting. Our room had been upgraded and the bed was very comfortable and the room decor was adorable. This by far is the most updated interior decor in Estes Park. The pool and hot tub area is very spacious with plenty of room for multiple guests. The game room is really neat in the fact that not only is it a place to lounge and watch movies but it also has air hockey and a pool table for your enjoyment. The restaurant Latitude 105 has been our favorite meal in Estes Park and we've been coming here for ten years. We really look forward to our next visit ❤️
We stayed in this hotel for access to RMNP, and therefore the location of this hotel is its strongest asset. The facility is undergoing an expensive renovation. However, this is still a tired, older hotel. Our toilet ran (it was broken) and the door to our room did not shut completely. The adjoining room had guests (who were not speaking loudly) and we could hear them very well through the walls. Although it was an okay experience, at best, I will not return and would not recommend this hotel to others. Having said this, the service personnel were very nice and accommodating.
When you check in the front area is modern, bright and welcoming and adjacent to the Latitude 105 Alehouse, the guy who checked us in was friendly and helpful as was the lady who checked us out. Unfortunately our one night stay was in an un-refurbished room (they are undertaking an extensive $5 million modernisation). The accommodation was in what looked like a badly designed 1960’s council house block (that’s an English term). Our bathroom had a hole in the ceiling from a water leak from the room above and the window sill was cracked, chipped and in need of repair. But presumably these defects will all be addressed in the upgrade. The good points were the pool which was about 20 metres long and I had to myself; and the proximity of the restaurant. Plus we did have a reasonably large room, two large beds and a TV to watch baseball! To be fair we did get a good night's sleep as it was pretty quiet. Once it’s all been refurbished I'm sure the rooms will be ok, though you can’t get away from the first impression of the accommodation area (see photo).
This hotel has undergone at least $6M in renovations and they said they are still doing more work. I absolutely loved the decor and ambience - the reclaimed wood, the ceiling beams, grey/white/beige colors - rustic. The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. Front desk staff was very helpful and courteous - all smiles! Great selection of beer/wine/spirits in the Latitude 105 Alehouse on property. Super close to the quant downtown. Bonus: there were at least 40 elk grazing and cruising around the property and parking lot. Magnificent animals. Truly enjoyed my stay here and would most definitely return.
Planned to camp at RMNP, but due to the snow storm we changed our minds. Needed a hotel last minute, and obviously searched something somewhat inexpensive. Found this hotel and we are so glad we did. Everything is brand new! The pool, hot tub and game room was awesome. Lobby was extremely inviting. Staff was awesome and very open to conversation. 5 minutes to RMNP so it was perfect for our hiking plans the next day. Booked a pet friendly room on accident, but the nice lady gave us an upgrade since it was available. Will definitely come back and we hope the price doesn't go up too much haha!! Ps if you book on trip advisor the reservation will be under your TA name.
Nice hotel. I'm not so sure it was $200.00 nice. No refrig, no microwave, no type of breakfast unless u pay. Room was nice, towels nice, the bed comfie, no view and a bit of a walk to Main St. It's a large hotel we were on the back side.
