We were in Richmond for a volleyball tournament, and the house and location were perfect for our needs. Mei was very responsive and communicative, and we had no issues with anything. We would stay again in the future, for sure.

Mei's house is exactly as pictured. It is impeccably clean, well furnished, and quite comfortable. The fenced in yard is fantastic!! The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Mei provided excellent communication and promptly responded to any questions. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Richmond.

We had a good time at this house. The host was responsive to all the questions and requests. The house was really dirty though. Cobweb in many places in the house (even on the light above the dining table, extremely greasy dishes and silverware (there is no dishwasher in this house, we had to wash everything 3 times). At some point I thought this host is getting scammed with the cleaning services. Because they charge 100 as a cleaning fee. And also there was a bit of an inconvenience with the cooling system of this house. It makes kitchen really cold, but doesn’t do anything to the bedrooms. Location is good.

Cute & Cozy in Quiet Neighborhood

Great communication from owner! This is a lovely older home in a quiet neighborhood. The front fenced yard was perfect for our dog and the home's interior was super clean and inviting. We had 2 vehicles and were able to find street parking easily in front of home. We ate at the Mexican restaurant that was very close by (Amigos) and it was delicious. Also, very close to a Target & Kroger along with many other shops. I would definitely stay at this home again!

Perfect fornour family's needs

The house suited the needs of our family who was in town for an event. The front amd back yard was fully fenced which was great for our furry family too. They had severalnitems like kitchen appliances, etc.

Siting family

We were in Richmond visiting family and needed a separate the house to stay in. This house fit our needs quite well.it was nicely designed, cleaned, in a nice neighborhood, with good space for our family and a fenced in yard that was good for our dogs.

NYE stay

A small group of friends and I came here for New Year’s Eve. It was awesome to use the fire pit, and we used the kitchen to cook dinner together. There was also a lot of seating around the TV for us to play games and watch videos. We had a great time !

Perfect Fit with Heads Up for Pet Owners

This was our second stay, with all the same expectations met in cleanliness and accommodations. Had one surprise when I let my dog out back, half the back fence was gone! Heads up for any pet owners, looks like owners might be transitioning backyard to parking spaces, which is fine since the front yard is fenced and works great as well. It was just a change from last stay and I was lucky my dog isn't a runner!

Nice Home in a Desirable Neighborhood

Spacious home with modern touches in a great location. Welcome goodie basket upon arrival. Very dog friendly with a fenced in large back and front yard. Neighborhood is lovely, picturesque and walkable. Enjoyed the fire-pit as well, but there was glare from tall fluorescent street lamps out back that borders Broad Street. Very quiet comfortable stay. Would definitely return!

Great RVA Homebase

We are originally from RVA but live out of state. As such, we are frequently renting VRBOs when we come into town to visit family. In the past, we've tried to stay in hip locations near Carytown or Church Hill in order to be where the action is. Invariably, we end up in an old home with lots of quirks and not a lot of room and uncomfortable beds and noisy neighbors. This home looked perfect for us (and our two small dogs) and we could not have been more pleased. We stayed 10 days and had the most enjoyable time of any VRBO we've ever stayed at. The best part of this VRBO, aside from the solitude and privacy, was its proximity to the Interstate. Within three minutes you could be on I-64 headed in any direction you wanted. Each morning my wife and I would put on our exercise gear and go for long walks through the neighborhood (Monument Avenue was about five blocks away). The hosts are amazing people and we hope to be back soon. Five Stars!
