We are originally from RVA but live out of state. As such, we are frequently renting VRBOs when we come into town to visit family.
In the past, we've tried to stay in hip locations near Carytown or Church Hill in order to be where the action is. Invariably, we end up in an old home with lots of quirks and not a lot of room and uncomfortable beds and noisy neighbors.
This home looked perfect for us (and our two small dogs) and we could not have been more pleased. We stayed 10 days and had the most enjoyable time of any VRBO we've ever stayed at.
The best part of this VRBO, aside from the solitude and privacy, was its proximity to the Interstate. Within three minutes you could be on I-64 headed in any direction you wanted.
Each morning my wife and I would put on our exercise gear and go for long walks through the neighborhood (Monument Avenue was about five blocks away).
The hosts are amazing people and we hope to be back soon. Five Stars!
