Accoglienza molto gentile da parte del signore che ha anche donato pere del loro giardino. Purtroppo, però, era solo apparenza. Una volta stata sola in casa ho dovuto richiamarlo perché mi sono resa conto che nonostante sapessero che avevo due cani, sul retro c'erano assi da cui spuntavano chiodi e nel giardinetto c'era diversa immondizia. Assi spariti velocemente mentre ho poi constatato che l'immondizia era stata solo nascosta dietro al muretto.Il signore ha spalancato per ben 3 VOLTE il cancello(cani liberi e lo sapeva) Nell'aprire le finestre per arieggiare ho scoperto varie rotture che ho segnalato credendo fossero stati gli ultimi inquilini ma ho poi capito che lo sapevano già .Impossibile abbassare le tapparelle della porta finestra ,x cui quando picchiava il sole la sala diventava un forno, per contro alla finestra era impossibile alzarle, per cui non si poteva aprire. In cucina credevo mancasse la chiave della portafinestra perché la maniglia era molto dura,invece la porta finestra non si poteva chiudere a chiave(!) perché non la davano(pare sia stata rotta più volte).Quindi la sala non è stata utilizzabile e la TV, che il proprietario non è riuscito a farmi vedere come funzionava, in effetti non funzionava.Consiglio di portare ventilatori perché ci sono ventilatori al soffitto solo in sala ed in una camera. Quando ho insistito che facessero qualcosa per le finestre(da sola avrei usato sala, cucina, camera, bagno:5 finestre. Rotte:3),non avendo più argomenti il signore ha iniziato ad arrampicarsi sugli specchi girando prima l'argomento sul fatto che dovevo avere rispetto per la casa(???),che mi avevano dato immacolata(cosa non vera:polvere sul comodino, gomitoli di lana sotto il letto, manate di bambini sulle porte finestre, porte unte, resti di cibo nel cortile dietro oltre alla già citata immondizia davanti, polvere di settimane sopra il metro e 80.tende probabilmente lavate almeno un anno prima,il cesto per la biancheria sporca aveva un cm di sabbia dentro) .Non ho usato il divano per via delle finestre ma vi consiglio un telo per coprirlo.Le poltroncine all'esterno le ho usate dopo averle coperte.Armadi rotti.La zona generalmente è ventilata per cui si sta bene, assicuratevi abbiano aggiustato le finestre o non potrete far la corrente necessaria a sopravvivere quando non c'è aria, Seconda argomentazione è stato chiedermi se non uscivo mai di casa. A quel punto ho preferito concludere la conversazione Non ci siamo più visti.

Perfect stay at Villa Orchidea

We've had a very pleasant vacation at Villa Orchidea, the house is very nice, roomy and clean, and the hosts were perfect. I strongly recommend, and will come back !

Bella vacanza

La casa è esattamente come viene descritta e i proprietari sono veramente cortesi e disponibili. 3 camere da letto, un soggiorno molto ampio, una cucina, un bagno , una lavanderia, una doccia esterna e due terrazzi ampi. La proprietà è al piano terra di un villa bifamiliare (abitata al primo piano da altri proprietari) che si trova in un piccolo borgo abitato da poche centinaia di persone. Nel borgo ci sono un bar/ristorante/pizzeria/tabacchi di buon livello, un market ed una chiesa. Il mare più vicino si trova a circa un km di distanza e sitrova nella riserva del fiume platani con una spiaggia che a volte ha la sabbia e a volte i ciotoli (a seconda della mareggiate). Nei dintorni ci sono tantissime spiagge belle, bellissime e quasi sempre poco affollate. Nella casa non abbiamo sofferto il caldo nonostante non ci siano i condizionatori ma solo una pala a tetto nel soggiorno perchè è una zona molto ventilata.

Buona casa in ottima posizione

L’appartamento corrisponde esattamente alla descrizione presente sul sito. La località è facilmente raggiungibile e buon punto di partenza per visitare tutta la costa da Marsala ad Agrigento. Indispensabile una vettura. Grande tranquillità, ottima attrezzatura di biancheria e stoviglie. Per gli amanti del mare, a circa 3 Km si trova la riserva naturale del fiume Platani ed il sito di Eraclea Minoa. Grande ospitalità e discrezione dei proprietari, peraltro molto disponibili. Una vacanza 10 e lode da consigliare a tutti.
