We booked one night in this hotel following our flight from the UK and before travelling to Symi the next day. It is a beautiful hotel with excellent service. John’s communication on the best way to get from the airport and what to say to the taxi driver so that he could meet us on his golf buggy and take us to the hotel in the old Town was fantastic. Our room on the ground floor was great with lovely bathroom products, bath robes and beautiful bed linen. John couldn’t have been more helpful recommending restaurants and following a lovely breakfast the next day, taking us, with no additional charge to the port on his gold buggy. John and the staff provide excellent, happy service and I can not recommend this hotel enough. The one negative is that we had only booked this hotel for 1 night. This place is a must if you are travelling to Rhodes old town.

John, owner communicated with us and met us outside by the taxi. Room was comfortable, hotel only has 6 rooms. very clean and had a nice courtyard where we had breakfast each morning. Breakfast was adequate, and had the same thing every day. John have excellent suggestions on where to eat, and the Marco Polo is a MUST...Reservations required.

Another wonderful vacation at Zacosta. It has been a pleasure to see Zacosta evolve from a three-bedroom to six-bedroom villa over the past 10 years, whilst never compromising on quality, cleanliness and attention to detail. Zacosta offers a superb relaxing quiet oasis just seconds away from the exciting atmosphere of the medieval old town. As previous reviews have said, John is the Jewel in the crown; a true gentleman and such a friendly host that you can’t fail to be glad you booked to stay here. John picked us up on arrival and also kindly dropped us off at the port for our trip to Symi and again picked us up on our return. Nothing is too much trouble and John is so relaxed that you chill-out too! The extra personal touches such as a welcome bottle of wine, towels folders ornately, Korres toiletries and fresh, tasty cuisine in the pretty courtyard are amongst a few of the qualities, which set Zacosta head and shoulders above the rest. Thanks to John and Edrene for your hospitality and for making our Ruby Wedding celebrations so special! Efharisto. Until we meet again Kevin and Diane May

I do not write reviews very often but Zacosta villa definitely deserves one. The place is right in the center of the old town, very charming and comfortable but I want to acknowledge the amazing welcome of John. I spend a good chunk of my time traveling for work (100+ flights a year...) and rarely have I seen such a level of service, even at top end hotels. John was extremely friendly, gave us great advice for trips (eg Symi), picked us up and dropped us off for our arrival / departure... Frankly, even at the St Regis I did not always receive this treatment. Thank you so much !

The Zacosta Villa Hotel is a gem hidden in the back streets of old town Rhodes. It has only 6 rooms and it is intimate but, at the same time, you have your own space and freedom. The hotel exudes quality in every aspect: the entrance, the courtyard, the finishing of the building, the reception area and the rooms. Our visit was for 7 nights in Aug'19. Our room was well decorated and large enough for one adult and teens aging 19, 17 and 15. The air-con was excellent. The fridge was filled up with mineral water every day. The WIFI worked perfectly and the best aspect of the room was the bathroom with fantastic shower, quality soap/shampoo and embossed towels. The hotel owner, John, is totally committed to the enjoyment of all of his guests. He was the first in Rhodes old town to introduce a golf buggy to meet guests at the entrance to the pedestrianized area thus saving them a 15 minute walk over bumpy cobble stones with their suitcases. Another highlight of the Zacosta is the relaxed breakfast in the courtyard. The local Greek yogurt, freshly squeezed orange juice and continental breakfast is a daily highlight. The room is beautifully made up every day. Special mention must go to George who helps John in the hotel for his warm welcome and constant smile and helpfulness. Another great feature is the recommendations for local restaurants. When the time came to leave, John took us in the buggy to the taxi he had arranged and our holiday in Rhodes was over too soon.

This quaint hotel is hidden less than a minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of the old town. A warm welcome from the owner who does everything he can to make sure that your stay is a happy one. Breakfast is provided every morning as well as a golf cart to transport you to the ferry port or the gate of the city wall. We felt like part of the family. Total comfort , outstanding cleanliness and a very friendly team. Will not hesitate to recommend this hotel

Very tastefully decorated, gem of a hotel in a historical building in Rhodes. Great amenities. Owner John is superb and will bend backwards to make your stay enjoyable. Listen to his restaurant recommendations.

Most friendly and courteous service we‘ve ever had!! Sweet room! The two sweet guys welcomed us & picked us with their Golf car! Breakfast In the sweeet courtyard was fresh& cute, location best in rhodes Town! Thank u very much!!

The hotel is beautifully located, quiet and cozy. John, and the others at the hotel, were very helpful with everything we needed on our work trip. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is good! This place is really worth a visit and i would love to come back!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel. The room was clean and cozy with a wonderful and big bathroom, and the breakfast was so fresh. And you can actually have the breakfast served whenever you like - so nice! Jon and his crew were so helpful and gave us the best service ever. Can highly recommend this place for everyone that’s looking for a calm and cozy stay in the beautiful old town.
