Although our family house is located in the centre of the old town,you will find it an amazingly quiet place, a wonderful oasis in midst the busier outside world.
As you close the large wooden door behind you, you enter a different world, a world that has maintained the character of the period of the knights.A cohesive combined style is the interior design as we wanted to offer a cozy ambience .
The House is newly renovated in 2024 with old parts of the 15 century, old stone walls are integrated, modern facilities with washing machine and dishwasher, flat TV & satellite Internet, NETFLIX,central heating ,
2 bedrooms (with air conditioning) on the first floor, one is allowed to sleep for 1 person on a wooden balcony and at the bottom with a double bed (1,60 x 2,00 ) and a wardrobe as TV .A double bed 1,60 x 2,00 with an open walk-in closet in the second bedroom and in the middle there is a bathroom with bidet and shower. The living room (air conditioning) with Italian design sofa a work area is located on the ground floor and through a low passage (under monument protection) to get into the kitchen which is fully equipped. There's one extra door to the garden area and a second bathroom with shower and toilet.
As you walk out into the garden which is surrounded by a wall to give you privacy, you have a small terrace with plenty of sitting space.A few steps lead to the open part of the garden with a towering lemon tree,a dining and barbecue area.
Please note there is a second house - fenced on the private ground with it's own terrace and entrance .If you need space for 9 person the houses and garden can be connected if available .
Everything is reachable in walking distance as bars, restaurants, harbor,
sightseeings. The family dog is welcome

the villa and garden with own private entrance is for your use.The central heating (oil) is included the price Dezember - Febuary. Wood for the fire place can be delivered upon request with additional charge.UNESCO World Heritage, no driveway by car permitted-public car park is 200 meters away.

Long term rents are welcome, we do keep due the pandemic our promise we will work with you on any reschedule if you can't travel !

Although the house is located in the centre of the old town, very close to the Synagoge and the medieval city moat as well close to the entrance of Melina Merkuri - Tavros and the commercial harbour,you will find it an amazingly quiet place, a wonderful oasis in midst the busier outside world.
The old town of Rhodes is the oldest inhabited medieval town in Europe and as World Heritage Monument it is protected by UNESCO.
Throughout history its various occupants have left their traces in this beautiful town and as you get lost in the maze of its many cobble-paved streets, you will be left with a deep impression created by the mixture of oriental and western architecture.
Every historical period from the Ancient Greek, Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine times to the Venetians/ Knights of St.John and later to the Ottomans; all these have left their mark in this old town.
This mixture of cultures makes the Old Town of Rhodes a living monument, creating many opportunities for the visitor to wander around and explore the different faces of this lovely place.

please note not to throw any paper in the toilet (anywhere in Greece) and don't use the ac with open windows or while absent from the property.
