We loved this place. The owner/manager was just delightful, willing to help us feel at home inside and out exploring Iceland, even making sure we took the "emergency" number in case we had problems or got lost. I would consider this more of a bed and breakfast than a standard hotel. The beds were great. It was so quiet. There is a lovely kitchen area upstairs that is stocked at all times with non-perishables (and ginger cookies). It was decorated for Christmas when we were there. I hope to go back to Iceland and will definitely stay here again.

It was a pleasant stay and I slept great! Thank you :)

The hotel was great, very clean and easy check in. I recommend this place to anyone.

The room, check-in, check-out, amenities, everything was very good. I don't have so much a complaint, but rather a slightly expensive experience. It's not the staff's fault, they did what they were hired to do. I was confused about the free ride to the airport. The lobby sign said 'be here at 8am to get a free ride to the airport at 8:30.' I was there by 8:05am, had my bags in the lobby. I didn't ask the staff, who were busy talking and cleaning rooms, about the ride to the airport. Just after 8:30am, I asked one of them whether the ride to the airport would happen, and they said 'no, you have to call, it's after 8:30 now so you have to pay.' It was only $19 USD, no big deal, but I didn't like it and I didn't realize I had to call for a ride to the airport listed as happening every day at 8:30am, and which didn't say you have to call ahead to arrange. (After 8:30am, the sign said you have to call ahead, so I understood that part).

It's a clean hotel with lots of room. We stayed in a room that sleeps 4. There is a common kitchen area with supplies (e.g. sugar, cereal, dishes) for guests to use. While I appreciated the care that the owners take to keep it clean and orderly, it was a bit disconcerting to see and read that we were on camera in the common areas. I'm sure this is common in many places, though probably a bit less obvious. Overall a wonderful place to stay and no issues.

We got this room because we thought we would need to be near the airport on the day of our departure. It turns out that we could get there fine from Reykjavik and really didn't need to move all our stuff to a new place. The hotel itself was very nice and slept the four of us very comfortably. It was expensive though. We did check in ourselves so I didn't rate the hotel staff.

The folks at the hotel were great which was close to town and airport. We even walked to the Viking museum from there. Amazing place and town.

Excellent location, Staff helpful --arranged for taxi back to airport and lent me a raincoat which kept me from getting wet. Room charming and clean. Grocery store nearby or those who wish to make light meals at the hotel.meals,

The room was nice, clean. The door locks were a little weird, but that was of little importance. Check in was easy. The hot tub was so amazing and welcome after a long flight, I could even see the Aurora in breaks in the clouds. Very cool, and great for a 20 hour layover.

It was a welcoming, small hotel that really felt like a home. My friends and I loved our stay and I would never stay anywhere else when I go back

We loved this pristine, super-clean, and cozy guest house near the airport in Keflavik. And the bed was truly the most comfortable ever! Nice breakfast, and we later walked the short block for a very nice dinner overlooking the water. The harbor is beautiful - we walked the length of it and loved the majestic sights of sea & mountains!

nice little hotel. the place had self check into rooms find your key and thats it.

Very clean. Walking distance to local eats and about as short of a taxi ride tot he airport as could be found.

Oddly, never met anyone who worked there... the whole process was done with a keypad, key left in the lobby, and automatic billing. But still a good option for a budget room in Iceland.

Good place to stay. Clean. Quiet. Nice regarding the cost.

Very quiet neighborhood. If neighbor wakes up early, u can hear shower sound as it is shared by everyone.

Was very nice but very noisy, they must get this complaint alot because they were the only hotel during our say that gave us earplugs.

Quiet, comfortable, clean, and the staff was very helpful and nice.

Dear Brian. Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience. Our sign says please met us at any time after 8am to ask or book our free service. So our staff should have been able to take you to the airport at 8:30 am for free. Please contact us via email and we will refund you the 19USD for the inconvenience. We offer free shuttle service to KEF airport from 8:30 am to 11:30 am so you should not have to pay for the taxi. Again, apologies for the confusion.
