VERY POOR AND RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE! THE LADY / MANAGER AT THE FRONT DESK WAS QUITE HOSTILE AND NOT COOPERATIVE AT ALL! EVEN BASIC REQUESTS WERE NOT HONORED IN A PROPER AND TIMELY MANNER. THAT SURE DID NOT MAKE FOR A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE AT ALL!!

Quite adequate for a one night stay. Bedspreads needed replaced all were ripped.

The men were nice, but had no help from the female staff. Very little help to none. Never got room service, came back to an unlceaned room when other rooms had service. Do not recommend.

No hot water the evening we arrived. Not the hotels fault-geothermal pipe was damaged. However, bathroom had no soap or body wash in the shower; only shampoo and conditioner. The door handle from the room to the hallway fell off as we were trying to leave. Staff neither pleasant nor rude.

My family and I have travelled to over 30 countries and this was by far the WORST hotel management experience. The hotel made a mistake and double booked us for the same night. When we brought this issue up to the manager, she became irritable quickly and turned her back on us (literally). She made it clear she was not going to help even though we calmly and patiently explained we had been double charged. We even tried asking her to move the date for one of the reservations and she was indignant and refused to help. In fact, she proceeded to ignore us for the duration of our stay. We weren’t even given access to the second room and basically paid $600 for one room. You’ve been warned. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. There are other comparable accommodations for the same or cheaper price. You don’t want to take a chance on this “hotel” and let it ruin your entire trip in Iceland. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. There are some positive reviews but you don’t want to be the unlucky ones like we were and get scammed/ treated like this. We’re calling our credit card company immediately to help wit this because this hotel management made it clear she won’t lift a finger. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

The hotel management falsely claimed they offered complementary shuttles from the airport. We spent a lot of money hailing a cab to the hotel at 4 am in the morning with our infant daughter deeply inconvenienced by this. The hotel manager was very very rude to my wife at breakfast (the hours were never communicated and they shut the breakfast area at 9 am). On asking questions of the lady at the hotel concierge she falsely claimed that she wasn't the manager and I would have to wait for the actual manager to discuss any further issues. We heard people screaming and shouting all day at the hotel desk next to our room all day and even late into the night because of customer service issues like the ones we experienced. This is very expensive hotel with extremely poor customer service, save yourself from a terrible experience.

Hoping for early check-in, but that was quickly shut down by the curt receptionist. What was supposed to be a douvle bed was 3 singles. Beds were comfy. Room was noisy due to wind and pub across the street.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel but for the money it was well worth it. Great wifi, parking and safety That's all I care about. In the morning, a good breakfast.
