The location is fantastic, close to the center of Reykjavik and convenient for public transport. The apartment is comfortable, well-equipped, with plenty of room for storing our gear. We did have a huge problem gaining access because although we were sent a key code, we were not familiar with the gadget and did not know how to activate the invisible touch pad. We were stuck outside for 30 minutes until a stranger from the street enlightened us.

Property was nice, comfortable bed, walking distance to coffee shop, good pizza place, downtown shopping area.Cleaning crew was not finished at 3 o’clock, we waited an hour sitting outside waiting to have access to the property. Area rugs were filthy in the bathroom and living area. clearly they did not have time to do the floors. Shower doors appeared to be somewhat broken. Usable but could not completely close. Access code to property was incorrect, but one phone call to property management and that was immediately corrected. Would use this facility again and would recommend it

Nothern lights and a hot tub

Our 2 night stay was amazing. Seeing the nowthern light from the comfort of the living room with pjs and blankets was the way to go. Our 7 year old son was cozy and warm. The hot tub was very nice to have while gazing at the star filled sky. A really beautiful home and the host were very responsive. I could live in the goreous home!

Nice Place But…

The apartment was very nice. The check in was very stressful. We had been travelling for 2 1/2 weeks. I knew they had gotten the payment because I saw it when I made a payment to my visa. We did not have any information on entering the property, an email was sent the day before that went to my junk mail. This email was asking for a picture of my driver’s license and my credit card before they would give me the code to access what was already paid for. I was very uncomfortable doing this because at this time I had no choice.

Overall Good

We had a very nice stay at the place in downtown Reykjavík. The location is perfect, and the home was clean, warm and comfortable. No issues with entry or finding the property. One of the biggest reasons we chose this particular property was because it was advertised with a washer and dryer. The washer worked fine. Unfortunately, the dryer did not. I contacted the host several times asking for a fix, and was told 3 separate times someone was coming to fix it - and I kept all email communication as proof. A repair person eventually came out, but was unable to fix the machine. The host never once contacted me after that to apologize or offer a solution. Because of that, I'd be hesitant to recommend this property, if having working appliances is important to you.

Family vacation

Wonderful place to stay with lots of room for the whole family. Being able to do laundry in the apartment was a big plus. Kitchen was well stocked too. Only downside was no onsite parking (which the description said there was).

Wonderful Stay and Country!

We had a very happy and positive experience. The location is super convenient - you can walk all over Reykjavic easily. The apartment is very clean and well set out. We had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again on another Iceland trip. Thank you for the hospitality!!

Perfect location, great stay

This was a wonderful apartment and had everything needed for a 3-day stay. The location was great- we were right in the action and walked everywhere we went in Reykjavík. Very clean, easy check-in, and loved having the washer and dryer. Would recommend to anyone considering a stay in the city.

Great apartment in city centre

Super cute and spacious apartment in an amazing location for our 3 days in Reykjavik. We were easily able to walk to restaurants, shops, and tourist landmarks. We did have to look for street parking, but affordable P2 parking was a short walk away. Property managers were very responsive to questions by email. We would absolutely recommend this location for anyone hoping to stay in the city centre.

Short stay in Reykjavík

Lovely apartment in a great area. Very comfortable & clean for our party of 3. Kitchen fairly stocked but if you plan to do any cooking you’ll need to bring all the spices & condiments. Owner’s communication very good. We did have to park 2-3 blocks away but there was plenty of space to pull over temporarily to unload. Highly recommend 👍🏼
