The property was renovated & it looks great. Heated pool was amazing.

Property location to Boardwalk was fantastic, so close. Employees very friendly and eager to assist with restaurants, shops, etc. Room smelled very clean upon initial entry and no sight of bed bugs!

Unbeatable convenience to the boardwalk and beach. Rooms are nothing special — small and dark — but clean and worth it to be so close to the beach. Indoor pool is an added bonus.

The cleanliness, location and parking availability of this hotel were first-rate. However, our visit was marred by the shocking and inexplicable rudeness toward us from a maid who was cleaning our room. What happened was this: My wife and I happened to return to our fifth-floor room at a time when the maid was cleaning it. We just needed to quickly retrieve one item and use the restroom very briefly. When we saw that the maid was in the room, we politely and smilingly said to her that we just needed to go in the room for 2 minutes -- no more than that -- if that was OK. Unbelievably, she flashed us a dirty look that made clear her irritation. Seeing this, we reassured the maid that we really would be only 2 minutes -- which turned out to be accurate. Her response (which still shocks me to think about) was the following (delivered with a nasty snarl): "Well, I'm leaving now -- and I don't when I'm going to come back." Honestly, my wife and I were stunned. We have traveled for many years to hotels across the country and the world and have never, ever encountered such unprovoked disrespect from a hotel maid. Again, other than that incident, our stay at this hotel was very satisfactory. But that maid's behavior unfortunately put a real damper on our stay.

Thank you for leaving a detailed review. I have already responded to you about this issue directly. As stated, the Housekeeper in question has been with the Admiral for over 26 years. Again, I do apologize if there was a simple misunderstanding about her leaving to do another room and coming back. I hope you will decide to stay with us again in the near future.
