Comfortable stay with wide room. Room comes with kitchenette and living space, residence-hotel. Good choice to choose for both short term and long term stay. Restaurants and more in-house facilities such as meeting room, pools, and more. Wifi in room available. Bathroom with separated shower and bathtub. Clean room. Cozy place. Room with balcony. Parking lot available.
We have only one night stay in suite (2 bedrooms). The room is really big, and clean. There are also swimming pool, and gym if you feel like to work out. The staff is nice. If you are looking for the hotel in Rayong city. I recommend this hotel.
Well.. rayong is not a tourist place but this hotel makes you feel you a tourist. The place pampers you with lot of happiness and smiles from the staff.. the foood is great and the service is amazing. The rooms are well equipped with kitchen.. only one star missing as they don't keep any tea bags or coffee bags in rooms on arrival.. that one thing is missing.. off course we can buy but after a long flight a cup of tea or coffee on arrival kick starts the day to go to grocery shopping..
I had visited this hotel two different times. On the second visit, I had neglected to pack a bottle of prescription medicine which I had left in the bathroom. I contacted the hotel via email, providing key data pieces from my Portfolio and my home address. The hotel management found the medicine and sent it to me at no charge, and very quickly, also. I am extremely grateful and pleased with the customer service I received there and highly recommend this hotel.
I stayed here for 2 nights while I was on a business trip. I stayed in a clean studio room with a queen sized (I think) bed, kitchen and decent size fridge. This room is great for someone who will be staying for longer periods and wants to cook by themselves. The staff at the lobby was very friendly and seemed to be very helpful, however some of the staff did not speak very good English and it was a little bit difficult to communicate with them. When I entered the room after checking in, the room was so hot and humid. So I turned the A/C on but it took a while to cool the room because the room was so spacious and the A/C unit was not big enough for the room. There are 2 buildings on the property, one with the lobby, restaurants and rooms, and the other with only rooms. I stayed in the building with just rooms. There was a lock on the entrance door to inside of the building (not automatic door, you push and pull), but someone tended to leave the door open so anyone could go into the building if they wanted. I found the door open multiple times. This hotel has a potential security problem though I did not have any issues during my stay. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant and the night I went there for dinner was steak night. All you can eat steak, and a buffet including salad, seafood (you pick the stuff and they cook it in front of you), and dessert. It was inexpensive and there was a live band at the back of the rooftop restaurant. Also they have a rooftop pool at this hotel. There is a convenience store and some restaurants/bars within walking distance from the hotel. I did not have any problems walking to the store at night, but people may want to be cautious when walking around the hotel at night.
In the middle of extensive home renovations, I decided the noise, the dust and the smells (especially of the polyurethane) were too much so I moved into the Kameo Grand. My stay there confirmed my belief that it is Rayong's premier boutique hotel. The rooms are large and spacious, with a super comfortable bed, lounge and coffee table, writing desk, kitchenette and a large bathroom complete with both shower and full-size bath. Breakfast is a full offering of western and Asian dishes, including an egg station where your eggs are cooked to order. All the staff make you feel welcome and are attentive to your need and most of them speak English. One young man on the front desk, Khun Chakkrit, not only speaks his native Thai, he speaks excellent English, and I found out, Chinese, Cambodian and some Laos. On this visit I didn't use them, but the hotel has a roof top swimming pool, a spa and a fitness center.
Everytime I come to Rayong, I will definetely stay at Kameo Grand. The Hotel is very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Most of the staff speak good English. The apartments are big and well maintained. Recently, the rooms have free WiFi included. The roof top bar on ninth floor is a good place to chill out in the evening. You should also try the "California Steakhouse".
Most of the time when we have to go to Rayong. My family always choose this hotel. Kids love the pool there with hot bathtub , kid pool and ping pong table. Rooftop bar with the band is a very nice atmosphere. Breakfast buffet is really good especially their bakery; fresh and yummy. Breakfast choice: Thai, western, Japanese. Room is big even thought the furniture style is a bit out of trend compare with Kameo classic. But Grand, room size is much bigger. So it was not a big deal for us. Location is great because you can just walk out from the hotel and catch the public pick up truck ( Thai: Song-Theaw) and go to the mall just in 6 mins. There is a bakery shop right in front of the hotel if you like to get a good bakery and coffee. In the evening, you can walk or take a public truck to the night food market called Mhor Saroj market, which you will find many of Thai food and desert there. You can purchase and bring it back (you will find bowl, spoon, knife in your room) or eat there. If you come to this hotel at Songkran festival, this main street will cover with all water trucks and people splashing water to each other around noon time. If you want to go to the PMY beach, it's not too far from the hotel too. Also, every Saturday night (start: around 5 PM), Rayong always have the shopping night market in the downtown. You may ask the hotel to give you ride. It will take about 10-15 mins to get there. Definitely, go back there!!.
Spacious rooms and very clean, the hotel staff will do their best to accommodate requests , even if asking for a laundry service the same morning. Good breakfast. Tuesdays they have a buffet dinner on the terrace (9th floor), has a good variety of foods.
Large room. With small cooking area and fridge. Clean and good king size bed. During checking out, the hotel checks your room for missing items such as laundry bags etc. The positive side is, that forgotten items such as chargers are found and handed over before leaving.
