It was a wonderful stay, we stayed in a twin bedroom n rooms were excellent n so was service. The pool was a bit small however we(three families)dived in after 630pm n it was great having just to us. The cafe downstairs is excellent, which entertained us while we waited for the room
A courtesy car was waiting as soon as I landed. Took just under an hour to get to the hotel. Staff were polite & went out of their way to help. I arrived just before 10 am & a room was given to me straight away, which meant I could unpack & refresh before going to the roof top pool. Only 3 or 4 people visited the pool during the day as they preferred the 30 minute shuttle ride (no charge) to the sister hotel on the beach.A lifeguard was on duty all the time. Go all inclusive at the hotel then you don't have to worry about the cost of drinks/food. Everybody's food tastes were catered for, buffet breakfast/dinner, set menu with choices for lunch (which you could mix & match). The gym is open 24/7, spa with jacuzzi is also excellent. The only downside is there being no digital clock or ice creams available by the pool. you have to use a set of stairs after getting a lift to the 15th floor to get to the roof etc The warm cookie on arrival was nice but they contain NUTS & you aren't asked if you have an allergy to them. My 3 night break was excellent for recharging my batteries, I would recommend this hotel for a short break.
Me and a couple of friends visited RAK last weekend and we stayed at this hotel. Only a bit of disappointment that we had to wait for our room after a long drive from Abu Dhabi. Nonetheless, the room was clean and very spacious. Cza in the Starbucks suggested a very nice coffee that she made for us. She was also very friendly and suggested places to visit as it was our first time in RAK. Breakfast was okay. Lots of variety. The pool was small and packed! Rooftop bar's view was incredible! Especially at night. The staff there was friendly and very accommodating. Kudos to Hassan Risane and Netesh
Helpful staff, clean rooms, spacious rooms, nice view, many facilities, free internet, and everything was great I enjoyed my stay with family and friends also they’ve free access to resort and beach Excellent
Poor service comparing to last visit. Cocktail was not good & without garnish We just finished it because we paid( )Dhs per drinks . I forgot his name the bartender with nice haircut he is much better then the new -)) He was always asking about our drinks & 2nd round but the new bartender not. Good luck Treetop bar & Bar teams. Thomas.
Me and my girlfriend visited the hotel for Easter Holliday. I have positive experience from other DoubleTree hotels, but DoubleTree Hilton Ras Al Khaimah was a dissapointment. The hotel pictures are not telling the tru story. The hotel is simpler and more run-down than it looks in the pictures. Especially the roof-top pool area/bar that you believe are the hotel’s x-factor, it is surely not. Old furnitures, totally drifferent terrace view from the pics, very small, the bar has hardly any sortiment in terms of wine, beer and sparkling wine. Our room was decent, in spite of the cloak smell in the bathroom during our whole stay. Noisy aircondition from time to time - gave you the feeling of sleeping under a Jumbo Jet. The room was big and clean. The staff was nice and service-minded. Allthough it seemed like they had forgot to staff-up in the Easter high-season. It was permanently reception ques and the phone, which they answered in paralell, rang often. Difficult to receive simple answers due to all this. You do not want to stand in 15min reception line regularly. Speaking of ques, the two elevators that serves 15 floors was immensly slow - could take up to 15mins to get to our room. The bus transportation to the other Hilton (beach) hotel was a nightmare. Not the ride in it self, but the bus entering since there was no orginized que system. Basically it was those with the sharpest albows that got a seat, while those with a mature and polite behavior struggled to join the ride. Also the bus should be scheduled earlier to the beach and with later returns. The breakfast was good, the rest of the food was «okey-minus» All in all, DoubleTree Hilton Ras Al Khaimah is a comfortable Business hotel, but a suboptimal choice for leisure purposes especially in busy high-seasons.
This hotel is located in the city. Very near to al Naeem mall and other shops. It’s a clean neat hotel with friendly staff. As a diamond Hilton Honors member I was given an upgrade to a One Bedroom Suite which was very spacious and clean. It had a double sofa bed in the lounge which was good since I was traveling with the kids. The breakfast was 3⭐️. The variety was limited. What was really nice was that you were given free access to the facilities at the double tree Marjan island resort(it’s on the beach and has a water park).there is also a free shuttle to Marjan island. Overall well worth the price
In this hotel we felt very good, safe and most importantly comfortable. We stayed in the amazing room(bedroom and living room). There was nothing more we could wish for as everything was perfect to the detail. We had beautiful and specious bathroom, very specious shower cabin, magnifying make up mirror, hair dryer and always clean towels. We had big wardrobe with interior lighting, iron and ironing board. Exceptionally comfortable bed with very cosy duvet. Air conditioning was working very well. We also had a kettle, tea bags, coffe sachets and bottled water which were being replenished on the daily basis. Room was looked after very well by professional cleaners. Very tasty breakfast, fresh juice and lovely coffe brewered in jugs. Really good dinners. Well seasoned soups,salads... and much more. Although hotel is situated in the middle of the town there is no problem with getting to the beach. There is free of charge hotel bus taking guessts to the beach and back to the hotel. Close to the hotel there is a very big shopping centre where you can easily get by foot. Thank you very much to all hotel staff for our wonderful stay.
Our second visit to this hotel. We like the central location, welcoming staff and good cleanliness. We stayed bed and breakfast. Breakfast had lots of food choices, fresh fruits, croissants, bread, toast, cooked foods and freshly made omelettes cooked to order. Fresh juice was good quality and good variety. We opted to eat out the hotel on an evening when we booked the hotel because we wanted some variety. The hotel is located In the centre of the city with lots of restaurants. Around the corner to the hotel there are numerous eating places. We found a lovely Indian restaurant 'pure veg' which we especially liked. Their is also a mall across the road hidden behind the newly built hotel which has lots of shops and restaurants too. My only disappointment was the steam room in the spa was broken, so could not use it. We used the free shuttle the bus to the beach hotel daily. Approx 30 minutes journey each way. We enjoyed the journey as it enabled us to see a little bit more of the city. The beach hotel is wonderful. We picked up beach towel cards from the reception and then swapped them for towels at the beach.
