I liked that the property was right on the beach front. It had an amazing view of the lagoon and the sea beyond. I didn’t like the neighbors free roaming dogs, (3 of them), who barked and howled any time of the day. The property does not have any fencing, so the dogs go where ever they fancy. Also, something to note, the house (villa) is very creaky so if you have to get up in the middle of the night, you have the potential of waking everyone else.

Amazing beach front villa

We stayed in the Coral villa for a glorious 6 nights at the end of September and we are already thinking about our next visit... What an idyllic spot - a beautifully maintained beach house - the photos don't really do it justice - it was so much bigger than we imagined. Super clean and modern. The private deck overlooking the reef was spectacular. This was by far the easiest snorkelling ever - even people who can't swim can easily see beautiful tropical fish everywhere in waist deep crystal clear water. There is a very relaxed vibe on the island and everyone is super friendly. We did try to explore the island but found it very hard pulling ourselves away from our private little part of the island - it really is the best spot on Rarotonga! I was very impressed with the island's dedication to recycling and reducing waste and the villa made it very easy to achieve. We tried to do our bit by separating the waste and took all of our empty plastic beauty product bottles and soft plastics home with us so they wouldn't end up in landfill on the island. It was also refreshing to be able to separate out organic waste ( for the pigs ) whilst on holiday. The kitchen is well set up and we used the BBQ countless times. Lastly, thank you so much to Rongo who was so friendly and helpful from the beginning of our stay until the end! We shall see you next time xx
