We arrived after eight hours of travel to find the home in a shockingly filthy state—sticky counters, food debris, and a bathroom so dirty that a new white sponge turned brown after wiping the shower. The “clean” towels were wet and sitting on a soaked shelf, so we had to rewash all linens and spent from 7:30 PM to 1:00 AM cleaning instead of resting.We immediately contacted the host to flag these issues, but they were extremely slow to respond. After several hours, the one message they did respond with was not helpful. They did not follow up to our additional queries—even after several days. Several bags of trash were left out during our entire stay, making the outdoor space unusable, and the home was cluttered with empty bottles, stained furniture, and visible ceiling leaks. This was easily the worst rental experience we’ve had—unkept, unsanitary, and met with complete lack of accountability. Avoid this listing.
Trash bags in the advertised outdoor area. These bags remained throughout the duration of our stay.
Brand new sponge after cleaning the shower. It was a biohazard not fit for people to use.
Visible stains on the island. Clearly hadn’t been cleaned.
Closet shelf saturated due to putting “clean” wet towels in there.

Great NC Getaway!

My family and I had a great weekend getaway to explore the area in Cary. This house was perfect. AC cooled us down and it's located in a very quite neighborhood. It's also close to a lot of restaurants and shopping areas, the Downtown Cary Park, which I highly recommend. The owner was responsive and great throughout the trip!
