Great place to stay

It is our third stay in the hotel over a number of years. The service is amazing - we arrived very late on the first evening and although the kitchen was closed they produced a lovely meal. Food there is really excellent in the restaurant in the evening and they have a good poolside restaurant during the day serving a good range of possibilities for light or more substantial eaters. Huge pool with nice gardens, old olive trees and palms. Rooms are spacious, light and airy.

This is a large property out of Ragusa, in a nondescript neighbourhood. Interesting architecture, large room, a pool and a spa. The restaurant is one star Michelin one, very expensive. We had one great meal with good service the first night, the next night the same food as well as new items were not prepared as well, the food arrived over one hour after ordering, and service (water, wine pour, any requests) was terrible. The wait staff did not apologies, offer free coffee or dessert, or seem in the least perturbed.

The property is a bit isolated, but in return there is a parking lot. Very nice pool and grounds. Rooms are nice, and clean.

Fantastic Hotel!

Everything about this hotel is fantastic from the cleanliness of the rooms to the quality of the food. It was a pleasure staying in this hotel and being greeted on a daily basis by such friendly and helpful staff. The pool and garden area give off the feeling of being in an oasis, perfect if you are looking for a relaxing get away. As for the food everything was delicious, especially dinner at "La Fenice" the food here will have you going back for more. The only downfalls are that there isn't a cheaper option for dinner, the staff was scarce at times and if you are without a car looking to get around, the location is not great.

Lovely hotel in outskirts of the city

We had a one night stop in Ragusa and wanted a hotel with a pool. We were quite positively surprised by Villa Carlotte. Check in was fast, the room spacious and with a direct exit to the garden with the pool. The hotel is an old 1700 farm, beautifully restored and converted into a hotel - but it seems to lack a bit of attention now. The pool deck is getting tired, the doors in the reception are a bit old to look at (not by intention, though!). But if you are not a perfectionist, and we aren't, its a great place to stay if you have a car, and can explore the two parts of Ragusa (or go by taxi - it is NOT far (but to far to walk for most people).

Great restaurant in the hotel

We stayed here because there is a wonderful Michelin restaurant in the hotel. The hotel itself is attractive and well maintained, but a bit far frow Ragusa Ibla, if that is the focus of your visit.

Hotel Villa Carlotta in Ragusa is excellent!

Villa Carlotta is an excellent hotel in the outer more modern/new part of Ragusa. It is beautiful, contemporary and the service is great. Very good breakfast buffet is included in the price. Good WiFi connection and Sky TV, free parking, large pool, restaurant with recommendations from Guide Michelin. Esay access by car.

Beautiful building but lacking ambiance
