I did not feel comfortable at this hotel. If I could’ve left and paid for another hotel, I would’ve done so. The only reason I booked this place was the price, and I never will do this again in my lifetime.
The manager, JP, was nice enough to book us a room on the main floor since I have a disability and there were only stairs, no elevator. We also got an early check-in, what a surprise! They were so available!!
The entire place smelled stale and disgusting. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls. The mattresses in the room were very uncomfortable, way too firm.
The TV power could not be turned on nor off by the remote. You physically had to push a button on the tv. Not too handy when you’re falling asleep. Also, the volume of the tv was set so low, neither my husband nor I could hear it at full blast. There is a microwave and coffee maker in the room but they weren’t plugged in. The “free breakfast” is a continental one. The toaster doesn’t work to do what it’s supposed to. There’s no lids for the coffee cups if you want to go back to your room instead of hanging out in the dreary, small, smelly and cold front room where breakfast is served.
