First of all the positives. The inside was as clean as it could be, the manager did get us a key quickly once they realized we didn’t have one, and there was plenty of food. Now the negatives. The place is very old. The neighborhood is super rundown and there is a dog barking at you fiercely as you try to unload. You walk through a cluttered storage area to go up the narrow stairs to your door. The storage area had a creature that ran when we came in at night. I went around the corner to see what it was and discovered an open cellar door. The next morning I realized the creature was a cat as it stared up the stairs at me this morning. The bathroom had some newer fixtures, but the mirror was so tall I could barely see in it. The outlets are above that mirror and at 5’4” I could barely reach it.I would not have felt safe at all if my husband were not with me on this trip.Oh, and the hot tub you can pay to use when it isn’t under maintenance…just NO!
