This place was filthy, My son lost a slipper so I moved the bed.I don't think it's been cleaned under there in a year. & the beds were so soft and saggy I didn't sleep a wink. & there was a long black hair stuck to the shower wall & I'm blonde so not mine, ewww.
Room was surprisingly large and very nicely furnished. It came with a fridge, coffee maker and free WiFi. The indoor pool was unfortunately under renovation during my stay so I was not able to use it. Good location on main hi-way and close to all types of food establishments. A continental breakfast was included, it was a little limited but adequate. Altogether it was a comfortable stay and I would certainly stop here again.
Very noisy from roadway directly in front of hotel. Very dated and rundown. No soundproofing whatsoever.
In 5 nights my room was cleaned once, the only selling feature(pool and sauna) were under maintenance, rooms were dirty and dingy, parking lot was ridiculously small, horrible painting and cracks and dings all over the walls and ceiling and the bed was hard and pillows hard and flat. Definitely not a 3 star hotel and absolutely not with $100 a night, more along the lines of a single star @ $40 a night. Will not ever stay there again and will ensure everyone I know avoids it as well!!
The stay was not a good one at all and the kids were not comfortable at all. The rooms smelled funny and the beds were very uncomfortable. The pool was closed and the air conditioning was not workin and the person working the front desk didn't speak proper English.
The room was a nice size, bed was firm and comfortable, and the breakfast was adequate. The location was great as it is within walking distance of the shopping area.
Normally very happy with Travelodges all over BC, but this one was a less maintained than the others. Air conditioner broke down when it was >35 degrees celsius.
I arrived late in the afternoon and the room was available. The decor and bathroom fixtures resembled those of the 1960s. The air conditioning did not work. I was unable to login to the wireless internet. The clerk was helpful and assigned me another room. The internet connection was adequate, but the decor and fixtures were as poor as the previous room and the A/C did not work and was noisy. I could see daylight through the poorly repaired door jam. The pool was closed for maintenance. The location was central to downtown and the hospital.
room was clean but could use some updating. We were just stopping for the night, so wasn't expecting a 5 star room...was good for our purposes.
This is a well kept facility. It's a bit old but clean and fine for overnight stays. There was a bit of highway noise in the early part of the night. The owner is friendly and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was good. I would return.
