Wonderful location, clean rooms, very good food and personnel always available to support the requests. Highly suggested for business meeting organization. Very close to Queretaro downtown, where it's possible to see a lot of historical locations and experience the local traditions.
This is the second time I stay at the Hacienda. Both have been weddings of very good friends. Personnel always welcomes you with a very friendly attitude. Check-in for me is always very quick, since my reservations always include all my data and rewards number. Rooms are very spacious and clean. As a Gold member I received a complimentary plate of fruit. During the gathering after the religious ceremony this time we were offered very refreshing cocktails. They also brought some Mexican "antojitos". My only piece of advice to the servers is that they have to make sure all the groups get the same level of attention. The group I was in did barely tasted the food. Drinks were OK, we could get two rounds. Party was as always very good. It lasted until 4AM next morning. Breakfast was very tasty. There is a buffet and some breakfast menus that include some juice, fresh fruit, eggs cooked to choice, coffee and bread. Again, check-out time was hassle-free and car was brought very quickly by the valet. The Hacienda is a very beautiful place. It is very well kept and maintained. It is colonial style and I wonder how it was like to live there during those times. It feels good to know that such places are still kept in such excellent conditions. If you are planning to visit the CDMX and Querétaro surroundings yo definitively have to visit the Hacienda, even if it's only to eat there without staying. My compliments to all the Hacienda Galindo Staff for the great experience.
Hotel is nice But the service is slow The rooms are terribly warm and there is no air-conditioning The coffee maker had mold and fungus . It had not been cleaned. The food is very good. Specially the Sunday brunch Bar needs to extend its hours of operation.
The room was nice with a little balcony. But you are not going there to stay in your room, the all building, its garden and activities are the important things to consider there! The outside buffet food is amazing... you eat in the shadow of a huge tree in a garden with birds of all colors. The two swimming pools are in an other garden so that you don´t hear any of that noise when you eat. A little farm with pigs, birds, rabbit, horses and sheep can be found hidden in an other garden. You can play tennis, you can play basketball, you can hear the legend of that "Mexican Castle". It is totally worth it!
My favourite is The buffet is great with lots of options and top quality, especially the one for breakfast-brunch, during the weekends. The hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels in all of Mexico, really historic and very well preserved, the gardens and public areas are amazing and well maintened. The down side is the rooms need to get a little renovation, especially the bathrooms and maybe get rid of the carpet floors. The pool need to have a filters, and not having employees cleaning it all day long. Thre staff is really helpful an willing to exceed expectations, with special mention to the "leyends story telling" crew!!! 2 thumbs up!
Exotraordinary location in historic hacienda in full nature. Fulminant style can still be seen. However, service staff at reception, room service and laundry sometimes seems to be overstrained. Several times laundry got damaged or mixed up, changeful room service quality. But friendly and helpful people. Prefered location compared to noisy hotels in the city.
Very good brunch! One of the best in Queretaro! Staff is very friendly. Starting from the security gate! The only observation would about the music... Horrible music for that kind of set up in this style of resort....
There are haciendas all over Mexico. But because this one belongs to the Fiesta Americana group it offers a sum of services not seen elsewhere. Historically beautiful and maintained impeccably this is a great place for a weekend getaway for those who live in Mexico City or for a family gathering to celebrate an event! It is also highly recommended for business meetings. Take a look a all the pictures posted. You won't be disappointed! Incredibly huge staircases and huge wide hallways will sweep you into the past of this historic Hacienda! Some nights they will light the fire in the bar area for a relaxing drink before heading to the restaurant where the food and the service are excellent. They have a great pool with a huge shallow part for kids, tennis courts and lots of gardens to roam! You can stay here on your way to see Queretaro or even a day trip up to San Miguel!
Beautiful location for our Sales Conference. This old 'hacienda' has everything to make our visit unforgettable. Beside the meeting room for the official part, a very nice garden, swimming pool, tennis court etc. are available.
The entire property is stunningly beautiful. Not in a Las Vegas or Abu Dabi kind of way. In a walking into living history kind of way. The oldest parts of the buildings were built in the 1500s. The newest construction is 200-300 years old. Updates of modern plumbing, cable TV and ceiling fans are present but they have maintained the old world feel and original architecture.
