Our stay at the Best Western was mostly functional, as we used the hotel mainly for sleeping. On the day of arrival, we did notice some cockroaches in the bathroom, and the hotel itself feels old; the door to our room had visible cracks, which stood out. Breakfast was acceptable; nothing amazing, but nothing bad either. One positive aspect is the private parking lot owned by the hotel, located across the street, which is secured with a metal door and lock and has space for around ten cars. Another big convenience is the location, as many tours offer pickup directly from the hotel and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

Very old hotel, in desperate need of maintenance. Shower could not be used and the hotel staff did not offer a solution for it, the head of the bed was loose, bed was no confortable at all, it was very hard and old

First time visiting CR from USA. Wife and I stayed here for 7 Days. The locals and staff in the area were very friendly and there are multiple amazing restaurants within walking distance. The Free daily breakfast on site was beyond expectations, very good and very convenient! The hotel is safe and clean. Staying in Quepos instead of up on the hill and around Manuel Antonio was very cool and it was nice to experience a more authentic local vibe. The beach and park were all a very short cab ride away. We had no problem getting around the area via taxi from this hotel. The pool was also a great way to cool off during the day and offered a great sanctuary to relax and unwind. Being in downtown Quepos there was a little bit of street noise and activity however as an American I found it all very fun and interesting to take in. My wife and I also enjoyed getting to meet and have a couple beers with some locals in the casino. I would highly recommend this hotel for any travelers. This hotel helped to make our trip to Costa Rica super great and we love the country we experienced and people we met during our stay here! We hope to return soon and will definitely be choosing this hotel again!

But the smell…

The room barely fit a bed, smelled strongly, overpriced. I spent the night listening to kids play in the hall, sounded like they were in the room with me. This is a two star at best I should cost in the $40 range. Did I mention the smell?

The staff were friendly. We had an issue where our room was located as it was near Main Street quite noisy so they accommodated us and moved us to a much quieter area of hotel.
