The worst vacation ever. I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this resort. From the moment we arrived, the service was below expectations. Our room was unacceptable — the bed sheets had dead bugs, and there was visible mold in the room. The pool was dirty and unkempt, making it unusable. Necessities like washcloths were missing, which is surprising for a resort that advertises itself as luxury. This resort was a huge disappointment. The walkways were unkempt with grass and debris, and the overall property felt poorly maintained. The staff was unfriendly and not eager to help, which made the experience even worse. The staff only cater to people that are from DR. If you are American I suggest you find another resort. Rudy the hibachi chef was extremely unprofessional and made our stay horrible. I thought this hotel was adult-only. There were kids everywhere running around. I felt uncomfortable about wearing certain clothes because of the children. I was extremely disappointed with the butler service during my stay at this resort. What was advertised When you pay for a resort that promises butler service, you expect convenience and care — not to feel ignored or like you’re inconveniencing the staff. Unfortunately, this left a negative impact on my stay and did not justify the premium price I paid. A resort should provide comfort, peace, and quality service — but I left feeling the opposite. This was not the relaxing experience I had been looking forward.

We were glad that we went during slow season so that we could thoroughly enjoy the tranquility of the property. There were enough guests to provide company without it every being busy or over crowded as since all-inclusives are known to be. Diverse restaurants, the staff were very hospitable and you could see they're like a happy family. We had a couple of minor maintenance challenges but they were handled well. We did much of nothing and just lazed around but it was enjoyable. We never left except to take the shuttle down to the very chic Beach Club. Definitely a memorable visit.

Beautiful resort. Lovely rooms. Very clean all round. Food options are somewhat limited, but there are very nice options at each restaurant as long as you get the right things. 90% are very nice and attentive. As with all resorts, tips help. We experienced some teething issues with staff, but nothing serious that wasn't apologised for and resolved. The activities are really good and there is enough to do each day. The gym could do with more than one treadmill. All round we had a great time and would most likely go back one day.

The staff is amazing I don’t take nothing away from none of staff excellent service.. everyone treated us beautifully. Now under the conditions of weather I understand certain things but first day arrived buffet was closed so we had to reserve for 8:30 at one restaurant steak house was closed most time me being here and WiFi was impossible in our room and during a bad outage they had cause of weather but as a big establishment the should be ready for certain things or accommodate there guess with other things to do as the problem is fixed I could not order room service because everything is digital and WiFi was off most of my visit so could not use certain things in the hotel without going to reception bad weathers and had to walk to reception which I didn’t just stood in an slept and waited for reservations in same restaurant that I went first night because steak house was closed amenities were not up to par very bad experience for me everyone was super friendly but so much they can do they are not owners and that I understand so I don’t blame staff I blame the owners who are suppose to have a protocol for there staff ready for when things like this happen and accommodate food service was selective understanding lot of food but u can control by knowing how many ppl you have etc so much you can do to control outcomes to lose and even tho u lose as a business there are better days to gain what u lost so very very bad experience for me that i come from so far !

My partner and I booked Zel after a long search for an all-inclusive in Punta Cana to celebrate our anniversary, and it turned out to be the best decision we made. We had absolutely no issues with the resort. The room looked exactly like the photos, and the whole hotel feels brand new and very well maintained. Our master room was comfortable and perfect for a couple. The hotel has three restaurants you can book, including one at the Beach Club that serves lunch during the day and turns into a specialty (paid) restaurant at night. We tried the buffet one day, and honestly, it was the freshest and most delicious food I’ve ever had at an all-inclusive. The à la carte restaurants we tried were also very good. Breakfast was just okay—nothing special—but still fine. Nokyo was one of our favorite restaurant. Japanese hibachi and Carlos was an amazing chef!! The bars were another highlight. The cocktails were great, not watered down like in many other resorts. The staff, though, is what really makes this place special. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel at home. Our concierge Ericson was very attentive and gave us great tips on things to do and activities around the resort. Cons according to our experience: One small “issue” we had was that some restaurants didn’t always stick to the posted hours. Twice we arrived well before closing time, but they had already stopped serving. It wasn’t a big deal since we just went to the buffet instead.

Overall, we had a great time as we’re super easy to please. However a few things I wanted to note: food in the buffet was always cold, and the raw fish for breakfest always had a bad smell (spoiled). I have a feeling that the same fish was sitting there for multiple days. One day we were on the beach and when asked for bottled water, we were told there was no bottled water, only tap water was available at the time. I went directly to the manager and we were brought up water almost immediately. From my understanding, drinking tap water could lead to poisoning… Bottled water or filtered water should always be provided for the guests. One day we were in the buffer and the floor was flooded ( people were still in the buffet, and no one was doing anything about it for at least the time I was inside the buffet area, later on they closed the buffet area for a clean-up) I think they should have acted up much faster so noone slips on the floor. That was my second time at this hotel, and I still love the hotel and would probably return, but there are still so many things they need improvement on. My mom is coming in October, and I really want for her to have a good time.
