Food was above average. Many different places to eat. Not much on the property other than pool and beach. Excursions off site were good.

Melia brand always good experience! Stayed home at Melia Cancun before. Would be nice to have afternoon snack options though

This property is extremely large. There are two ends to the property - the front end, which are the lobby entrances and then the back end, which is near the ocean. It is about a 20 minute walk from one end to the other. They do have trolley busses that you can catch every 10-15 minutes or so, though. Depending on which side of the resort you stay on, I could see how you could have completely different experiences. My husband and I chose the Level at Punta Cana Beach, and it was magnificent! We had our own Butler - Moisew Medina - and he was fantastic! He will schedule everything for you via WhatsApp, which is how they prefer to communicate. We found it very easy to make dinner reservations - just tell him where and when, we requested our mini bar get restocked, and they will make sure to have a golf cart ready for you when you want. He also scheduled a Spa appointments for us. It was really convenient and didn't cut into our vacation to have to make reservations a head of time. We were able to enjoy the two sides of the resort with our stay - the Punta Cana side and the Caribe side. We didn't get to eat at all of the restaurants, but they were all very good. The Mediterranean Capri restaurant was my favorite, and husband enjoyed la Hacienda Mexican the most. The Japanese restaurant you have to pay for, but I think it was worth it - it was very good with sushi and hibachi. The buffet restaurants were just OK. Really good salad and fruit selection. Good or breakfast.

Clean property, nice pools, beautiful private beach and multiple bars around the property. Cons: Mosquitoes everywhere. Take repellant. Food is not very good at any of the restaurants. No night life so everything is pretty dead after dinner.

The size of the territory was truly enormous... walking from the main lobby to the beach would take about half hour. Shuttle transport service that the hotel offers was not very regular.

Rooms nice. Big balcony. Lovely grounds. Food wasn’t great. Service was ok. Some people really cared. Others just ignored you until you flashed some money. It was very inexpensive and you definitely got a lot for your money.

Had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious but due to Covid, not all restaurants were open. Masks were worn by staff at all times & guests had to wear masks & gloves when getting food from the buffet. This was my 2nd time at this resort & it gets better each time

Do not stay here! Food taste horrible. It was cold and they did not have much food options. There was absolutely no entertainment. Pool was dirty. When we arrived the room was filthy and shower was broken so they moved us to a much better room. The beach was beautiful although it was hard for us to enjoy because the locals aggressively harassed us and repeatedly asked us to purchase their products. Staff harassed us to visit the other side of the resort where they scam you and try to convince us of joining a timeshare. I’ve traveled many different times around the world and this is my 2nd time in punta Cana. Overall I do not recommend this resort to anyone and I would never stay here again not even for free. This was the worst resort ever.

This was the 5th time that we have visited this property. Last year it was not what we expected but we decided to try it one more time. We were very pleasantly surprised. The check in process has finally been simplified and it was complete within 10 minutes. The wait staff, bar staff, butlers, housekeeping and pool and beach staff were all friendly and attentive. The rooms have been beautifully redesigned and upgraded. The pool and beach were clean and they are replacing the beach chairs. The only disappointment was that they were doing construction by the pool and much of the patio to lay by the pool was unavailable to the guests. It also made it impossible to walk all the way around the pool. Additionally, they were working on pouring new cement sidewalks. It made for a noisy environment. Although this is all being done to ultimately enhance the resort experience I would have liked to have known that they were going to be completing construction. I may have chosen a different week for our vacation. All in all we had a very enjoyable time. We are already looking forward to next year. I would highly recommend the property.

Nice outside grounds. Pool is outdated, dirty and paint is peeling off on the sides of the pool. the beach had a lot of seaweed and they did a poor job cleaning it. I only saw them clean it 1 time during the entire week I stayed. No hot water in the room. I called 3 times to complain and was assured a call back from the manager but it wasn’t fixed and the manager never called back. The food is average, pretty much the same food every day. The buffet by the beach ‘mercado’ is dirty and food quality is really bad, service sucks. We tried the SPA and that was a huge disappointment. This resort in definitely not a 5 star resort. Won’t be back!

The location and personal were amazing. I highly recommend this place to spend an unforgettable vacation

we have being to the level adults site so many times but know they switch the adult to were the family site was very boring no activities like they use to have we felt that we were in a old folks site nothing to do food is not like it was before same thing every day,the good that some of the old workers they still there able to talk to them .new manegetment bad ideas see through glass in the bathroom bad thats your private time you dont want no want see you in the bathroom.dont think go back to the melia
