The best resort I’ve been too! All staff is extremely friendly and helpful! The restaurants are all fantastic!! And the entertainment is even better very fun and full of energy! Truly a special place to be! Best beach we have ever seen. Nice white sand. Some of the best bars and pools. We loved the swim up bar and 24 hr room service included in our privilege plan. Can not wait to come back!

Best vacation we have ever been on. All the staff is wonderful and accommodating! Jesus is the best butler. Food is 10/10 and so is entertainment! We enjoyed the pools as much as we enjoyed the beach. The privelage is the way to go, top shelf liquor and nice breakfast by the beach! Can not wait to come back

Had a wonderful time! Best vacation I’ve ever been on! Favorite thing was the restaurants especially mikes cafe and blue moon! Met a wonderful hostess at blue moon restaurant her name was Erick and she was such a kind soul and a joy to talk to! Making this resort our annual vacation !

First time in Punta Cana. Had an amazing week with my family . The hotel is clean. The food is okay lot of variety (I wouldn’t recommend the Japanese and Mexican tho) . The bartenders (Raquel, Vladimir) are very nice and The entertainment team (polin, cherry, Kelly) are super sweet they become part of the family at the end of the week, they have good games. They have a lot of variety of shows at night and they’re all good.

The best vacation ever. Beautiful staff. Awesome entertainment. Outstanding service. Throughout the hotel there is always a kind person willing to help you. Most of all the food variety is excellent. The rooms are always kept clean. Bathrooms though the hotel are maintained in an excellent conditions. Every night at dinner franky took good care of us then after we walk to the lobby where polin, Pokémon, black coffee ,chocolate ,kelly , cherrie y morocha made us feel at home dancing all night and made us feel like part of a family. Waitresses awesome service!!!!

Visited this resort with my wife and 2 small kids (5 month old and 3 year old). My first impression of the resort wasn't the best, but it got better with time and by the end of the trip I found myself liking the resort a lot. The room was spacious and modern but the attention to detail is a bit lacking, especially in the bathroom. There were a few small issues like a leaky sink, paint overspray on the floor, cracked sink etc but nothing that really affected our stay. The pools were the best part of the resort for me. They're spacious, clean and have plenty of nice features like a shallow beach type area, built-in loungers, an island, and swim up bar. The loungers by the pool and umbrellas were plentiful and easy to find though the loungers are a bit older and some are broken in parts. The beach is relatively small and by about 9:30am cabanas are hard to find and by 10:30 loungers are in short supply. The beach itself was nice and clean but the waves are pretty strong, a bit too much for young kids. The main buffet was terrific. A great selection with something for everyone. Everything was tasty and well-made and I didn't get tired of the selection during the trip. The a-la-carte's didn't require reservation and were generally fine but felt like a bit of a step down from the buffet. The best a-la-carte was the Japanese hibachi / teppanyaki place followed by the Italian. Route 66 and the steakhouse were just ok and I didn't get to try the French place since it didn't allow kids and was more "formal". Mike's Coffee was a nice perk and we found ourselves visiting daily in the late afternoon. The lobby was a nice place to hang out and have a drink, though it gets rather hot since it doesn't have any fans. The drinks in general were excellent throughout the resort. The bartenders were experienced and fast. There is room for improvement in terms of overall attention to detail across the resort. I didn't like how the only towel hut was at the beach rather than the pool. Also the shuttle system was confusing and poorly explained. Overall I'd say I really enjoyed the resort and it was nice for kids.

It was since the day 1 that everything was wrong. Customer service was unacceptable, manager was rude and discriminates Latinos. Her excuse of the hotel and restaurants being dirty is because most of the tourist are Latinos. I felt very discriminated. We were 12 people in a family and had different rooms, even though we specify that we did not want them to clean they still got in the rooms, in one of them $200.00 were stolen. When we report they do not take responsibility for it. When you go to the main reception to speak to a representative you will see many other tourist putting a complaint for many other reasons. Paying this amount of money to go to this resort is not worth it. The only good thing they hosted is the entertainment team.

My boyfriend and I visited ocean blue and sand in October and we had an amazing time. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I must say the entertainment crew were amazing and so hardworking. Pokemon and all the others are so much fun and very entertaining.

I just returned from this resort and unless they go through a major upgrade I would not return. 1st the food was great the pools fantastic, the grounds/landscaping is good. But the resort itself not good. Our rooms had a list of issues and no one ever came to address these issues. Some are very minor but annoying. Our shower door was missing the rubber on the bottom so door would stay completely open, we had to use tissue to create our own door stop, other wise when you take it a shower it is just water all over the floor. We had burnt out bulbs in our bathroom so it was kind of dark in there. The fan in the bathroom is falling off so had to keep popping back into place. The lighting in the rest of the room was all yellow and most of the lamps did not work. The actual door into the room had cracks that you could see through. The bottom of the doors were a hit and miss on whether it had a rubber or metal plating to keep the water out. We had a friend whose room flooded half way up their suitcase when we were hit with a big rain fall. Our maid only came to our room 4 times, we almost ran out of toilet paper a few times. Even when the maid did come not much was done and the floors weren't clean. But the beverage was always restocked daily. The chairs in the theatre to watch the show were horrible. Bunch broken, and uncomfortable. The shows were the usual Michael Jackson, International, beach party with fire show, etc. The pool chairs were HORRIBLE, every other chair was broken, not very sturdy at all. I swear if you weigh more than 150lbs it will break on you. The only towel hut was at the beach which is a pain. I think there should also be one located by the pool. Privilege had better chairs, but there is no privilege by the pool only the beach and the privilege by the beach was at the top of a sand cliff. Beach - Sand is like powder which is nice, small beach, and they have these huge things in the water to break the waves from hitting the beach, the tide is taking the beach which is why it is a small beach. Mike's coffee is fantastic, Italian restaurant the best by far. The Blue Moon restaurant so not worth it. Worst out of them all and it is suppose to be the fancy one. They have 6 a la carte and 1 buffet. (Steak house, Japanese, Mexican, Italian, Route 66, Blue Moon) Unless you are privilege all are 1st come 1st serve except Japanese and Blue Moon. Those 2 no matter what require reservations. The privilege also have a restaurant by the beach, which for lunch is open to all. There is a 24hr bar called Overtime Bar, that also serves food, when they have it. We given the menu and most was not available. There is a casino which was always empty. Bowling and pool tables, ping pong table always busy. Also has a teen club which I did not look at. 2 Shopping store on resort. The market would come to the resort once a week and they are aggressive. There is also a piano bar that I did not venture too either. Now with this resort also being outdated, we always had a problem with the bathrooms, the bathroom right by the pool was the worst for women, only 2 stalls and one was always out of order, the other did not have a door knob as it was broken. There is a trolley is always going around until 2am, so about every 10 minutes you could catch a trolley, which came in handy when it was raining. And there was also courtesy shuttle that you could always call if needed. and this was available to all. Overall we had a good time as there were 10 of us and we made it fun, like I mentioned earlier the food was really good. But the resort needs some work.

I am Dominican, born and raised until I was 12 and never had the chance to visit PUnta acaba until now, Ocean was excellent, I was there for 4 days and it was not enough days. The food is amazing, specially the steak house restaurant. The beach was great and the pools, if you get the Privilege package you get to have premiums drinks, the entertainment also great, the staff is very welcoming from the moment we went inside ultimo we went out, everyone makes you feel at home and make sure you are happy at all times. Looking forward to go back very soon, excellent place with a great price!
