We were booked in the "adult only" area which is not adult only- I was awaken each morning by a screaming child in the adult only area of the resort. This property is NOT adult only. Our shower was clogged from day 1 and after 3 showers, the shower water flooded into the room. We had to request 3 times to have it looked at, fresh towels replaced and water-logged towels removed. Food was meh.... Spa service was nice. Excursion was ok... dance club opens too late, 12am, but the shows end at 10pm so not much to do between. There was a strange sewage odor near the elevator we used. The beach COULD be beautiful but there are so many boats anchored in front of the resort we couldn't see the horizon. The swim area is roped off due to the boats so it is not a great beach to enjoy in the water. PLUS there was an altercation over the beach chairs where a 40 yr old dad w his young daughter(in the adult only area) removed towels from a chair that he thought was vacant, and when the 70ish yr old man and his wife returned to their chairs they threw the girls sand toys and their belongings into the sand which led to a 40vs70 argument and pushing and shouting, threats, and a snatch of a hat, toss of sunglasses.... finally the sandcops showed up.... nothing resulted in this, but a crazy experience. We loved DR and will return to DR but not to this resort. It's dated, stinky, average food, average service....

This is NOT an adult only property- this in fact is an all age resort that has some adult only amenities. The food is TERRIBLE! Legitimately the worst food I’ve ever had on a vacation and not just one meal, but every single one. Both the quality and the preparation of the food is disgusting and one more than one occasion the fruit tasted as though it was on the verge of spoiling- the fact that we didn’t get sick is shocking. The staff is friendly but difficult to communicate with most as they don’t speak much English. They don’t clean the pool areas each day and you see the previous days trash untouched. Do not stay here!

Huge resort, and beautiful lots amenities. The down side is that it’s definitely not an adults only resort. It’s more like a family resort with a small adults only pool hidden in the back and one adults only restaurant. It definitely should not be listed as adults only at all. Food is okay.. not great but ok. Overall the beach and resort is beautiful though.

The resort was beautiful and very clean. I don't feel I capitalized on all they had to offer. There was so much to do on the resort and it was very secure. It required everyone to check in at the gate via security. My only complaint is that I did not enjoy the food.

‼️‼️‼️ The food was NOT good !!! The only decent restaurant was the italian and asian. You can only get in by reservation and they were fully booked until our last 2 days. All restaurants except for the buffet are on reservation only. The rooms had a really strong stench like mold but they were physically pretty. Drinks were OK. The beach is right next to a snorkling site so there are always tones of boats in very close proximity. Staff didn’t look like they wanted to be there at all. I would NOT got back please save your money. We only had a good time because we were 3 couples traveling together. Also, we all got massages at the spa and it was horrible I have never had an experience like that in my life. The staff clearly had no training at all in massage therapy. Omg so so disapointed……. We went to Secrets Tides last year in Punta Cana and it was day and night please go to Secrets instead for a bit more money lol I will never go back to Lopesan ever again ‼️‼️‼️

Good afternoon this is my second time here and it wasn’t what I expected . We traveled a group of 7 celebrating a birthday and we rented 3 rooms. The room were extremely humid , there wasn’t hot water . In one of the other room the light fixtures had mold on them we called and they realized they needed to be changed . Poor customer service

The food was really not good. The hotel finishes are very nice but the whole place had the best odd smell combined with mustiness in the room. It was a weird cleaner or fragrance. Also the drinks were not great either.
