The location is lovely, cute towns around to do meandering shopping. Loved the view & screened in porch, and the comfy LR furniture. The bedroom with 4 bunks is a bit crowded, but for smaller kids probably fine. We were not there in 'hot' weather so did not get a chance to experience all the toys but looks so fun! Hosts were kind and accommodating.

Great property in a great location if u like to unwind and relax!!very quiet location with lots to do in the lake or relax on the screen in porch and watch all the wildlife!The owners are there to help u if u was to need help. Clean house and fenced in property for your furry friends.

Perfect Stay

The property and location was perfect for our week at Lake Murray for my husbands fishing tournament. The home had everything we expected and more. I worked remote for the week and my "office" on the screen porch was just perfect. The view is priceless!Lauren and Scott are great host.We will certainly stay there again when we go back.

Lakeside getaway

We enjoyed this well maintained lakeside getaway. The house was clean and the yard and beach area was a great place to sit and enjoy the sunset. The host was great with communication. Highly recommended!!!

Great View

We stayed for a fishing tournament. Host was very helpful regarding boat parking. House is on a flat spacious lot with a great view of Lake Murray. There was a minor Heat/AC issue when we arrived but the host got it resolved as quickly as possible.

Long weekend getaway/house hunting

We wanted to check out South Carolina as a possible destination to visit and/or move when a house came up for sale that was a possibility. We found this VRBO available; contacted the owner & had a very easy time obtaining accommodations which were a serene setting and a much needed laid back change of pace allowing for a mental and physical recharge with the Canadian geese, egrets and space to walk our dogs with room to breathe! I can not thank them enough for allowing us to visit their little slice of heaven! I would definitely stay here again! Five Stars rating for the serenity!

This property was fantastic! It was too cold to enjoy any lake activities this trip, but we have already talked about going back to enjoy all the lake has to offer in the summer! The house is great, and very family friendly. The host was very responsive and quick to accommodate us and make our stay perfect. I have already recommended this property to friends and family!

Private and Relaxing

Fabulous stay in a cozy and private location. Beautiful views with abundant wildlife on the property (deer, water fowl). Nice beach to launch one of the supplied kayaks. On a quiet part of the lake, that did not have much boat traffic, thus making kayaking all the more enjoyable. The home was very clean and well stocked. The owners were very communicative and provided helpful information about the area. Hoping to stay here again in the future!

Just as great as we remembered

Repeat visitors and our stay was just as great as it was last year. Arrived to a freshly cut yard, clean house, and a million dollar view! House was equipped with everything we needed. We cooked most of the nights (and had all of the cookware/utensils we needed) but there was a great Mexican restaurant 4 miles/8 min down the road we called for take out one night. Dock and ramp for the boat was in great shape. Large screened porch with comfortable seating, perfect for morning coffee or a night cap. The house and yard are truly pet friendly. Huge yard for our two dogs to do full zoomies, fetches in the water, and nap in the sun. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Peaceful cottage

We had a relaxing stay at this quaint little cottage! The views from both the porch and water’s edge chairs were so peaceful. The temperature wasn’t quite warm enough for the standup paddle boards but we did enjoy the kayaks. The cottage had everything we needed for our short stay. The owners were quick to respond to our messages. Thanks for sharing your home!

Wonderful stay!

We spent 3 weeks at the cottage on the amazing Lake Murray! We came from Michigan with a bass boat and a 12 year old Weimaraner Niki seeking sunshine while working remote. The cottage is exactly as described, comfortable, clean, kitchen is well equipped. Internet is great, never had an issue. The lake front property is big compared to typical lake lots. Lauren and Scott are great hosts, always available if you have a question. Thank you for the generous pet policy! Niki enjoyed the space and swimming in the lake…in March! We would love to come back. Near by in Chapin, 17 min away, there are plenty of shops and restaurants. However, when you are at the cottage, you are in the country. It was wonderful to watch ospreys fishing and listening to the birds signing every morning!

Wonderful Weekend!!!

My Family and I came down for the weekend because I was fishing in a bass tournament. We had a great relaxing weekend! The home was everything we were expecting and more. We relaxed out side by the fire pit and had S’mores! They even left treats for our six month old puppy!!! I would definitely recommend this home to anyone and I’ll definitely try to stay here again next time I’m here! Thanks Lauren!!!!

Amazing property for families and dogs

My daughter and I and our two dogs loved our time at this property. This is a great property for adults, kids and dogs. The large yard, beach and dock were wonderful. We spent a lot of time on the paddle boards with our dogs and fishing from shore and the dock. The house was perfect...laundry right off the bathroom, comfortable beds and the screened in porch with great views. Lauren and Scott were great to work with and really are about their guests. We hope to come back and stay even longer.

Relaxation cove

All i can say is WOW what a beautiful part of the lake,it was so quiet and peaceful with so much wildlife!On top of all that we literally had the lake all to ourselves to kayak on cooler mornings and late evenings and swim during the mid day heat.We found ourselves most days enjoying the screened in porch just watching the wildlife and enjoying the peacefulness!!!Lauren had everything u need to make it feel just like home away from home,we will definitely be staying here in the future!!!
