Beautiful two bedroom apartment on the edge of Portstewart with glorious views across the Atlantic to Portrush, Islay and Donegal. A few minutes walk to the restaurants and coffee houses of Portstewart and 10 mins drive to Royal Portrush golf club or the magnificent Portstewart Strand course. The apartment has two bedrooms, one double and one with two singles , a shared bathroom with bath and shower, a modern bright lounge and dining area looking out to the sea, and a patio to take coffee or a nice glass of something out on to. First floor with just 12 stairs up. Instant heat from gas, cooking on gas and electric oven and washing and tumble dryer there to use after those days on the beach or rain soaked round on the links. The apartment is perfect for long weekends or week long stays and the visitor book is full of " we will come back" comments as well as "fantastic view". Second bedroom has two single beds with a ward-robe between and like the other bigger bedroom is at the back and very very quiet at night. TV and DVD player in place and the 4G reception is very good. BT customers can pick up a wifi hotspot with ease. Five mins walk away are excellent cafes only too happy to share their wifi login. The seating in the lounge makes the most of the big windows and when you are easing into your stay on the sofa, it feels as if you are looking out from the deck of a cruise ship. There is free and secure parking at the rear of the property and a bus stop to events like The Open is a five minute stroll. Portstewart strand is one of the best beaches in Ireland, with over a mile of glorious sand and dunes to walk, decent waves for surfing or paddle boarding and a shallow nature for younger adventurers. The town has a relaxed feel with a hint of hipness and like Portrush has boomed since the widespead sales of wet-suits. Several good places to eat on your doorstep and the anchor bar is a classic of its kind and not to be missed. NB North West 200 bookings are a minimum 5 days, and for the Open the 5 days must cover the championship weekend.
