When I went to breakfast staff ran up on me like I didn’t belong. Not ok!!! Black guy with dreads. Also, they were painting the wing I was on and they started at 8am. No warning from staff.

Jayden at check in was awesome! It makes all the difference in the world to be greeted with such warmth and friendliness after a brutally long day of traveling. And the room was excellent. Very clean and had everything we needed. We were in Portland to work an event, and will be booking again next year.

I was traveling with my family of 5 and reserved the 2 bedroom suite. We had plenty of space and really enjoyed our stay. The staff was really friendly. They have an outdoor pool but it was closed and they let us know that we could use the indoor pool at a sister Hotel across the roadway. The property of Residence Inn is tucked away from a busy street and it felt safe and peaceful. We would recommend this hotel and plan to stay here again.

I did not like how tight the area is. Many hotels crammed on top of each other. I had to go and get my extra bedding for the sofa couch for my 3rd guest. From other Marriot's I have stayed at the packs were always in the room. The body wash bottle in the shower was also empty. I don't require much when I stay at hotels. The small things are what matter.
