- toilet not working, had to fix it ourselves - shower temperature varies roughly 20 degrees, shower panels loose, tub spout vent falling off the wall - carpets stained throughout hallways and room - chlorine overuse in the pool to the point where it hurts your eyes and lungs - lack of lighting in room and setup made no sense, example: TV was perpendicular to the bed - A/C was set to 21 degrees and when we returned to the room the temperature was about 15 degrees - didn't get much sleep, due to fights in the hallway and constant slamming doors and partying that was not monitored by hotel staff - elevator was out of service

Yes the location was good, with access to lots of conveniences around. The hotel has a large open lobby, with a unique appearance, but is incredibly dated. Definitely takes you back in time to an early 90s era. Lorraine was working the front desk, and she was very welcoming. We noticed a person with a dog exiting the hotel when we arrived. We were unaware it was a pet friendly hotel. Our daughter is deathly allergic to dogs, and so we now had to tread cautiously. When i explained this to the front desk, she was honest and disclosed that even though we will be put in a non pet friendly room, there was no guarantee that an animal had not been in there. When pet rooms are full, they do not turn away more people with pets, they simply offer them non pet friendly rooms. This is truly a huge inconvenience, because there is no guarantee housekeeping does a thorough clean. Walking down the hallway to our room, you can't help notice the incredibly stained carpets. Probably haven't been changed in 30+ years. It will make you think twice about walking around your personal room barefoot. Our room was a basic hotel room and dated. It didn't smell bad, it just had that dated smell. Like it had lived through a lot. Our beds were surprisingly comfortable. We all had a great sleep, so that was a huge perk. The swimming pool area, was truly one of a kind. I wasnt convinced it was cleaned regularly, but it has a pool/waterslide/splash pool/hottub. Good Breakfast at the restaurant

The pool was unsafe in its levels of chlorine. The air next to the water is extremely difficult to breathe. All of our children were coughing the first night and saying it was difficult to breathe. We weren’t sure if it was just having been to another pool earlier in the day so we swam again the next morning and experienced the same thing. As soon as we entered the water we were coughing and our lungs were hurting. I mentioned it to the desk and was brushed off with “it’s controlled by computer” but I don’t think the levels in the water are causing the issue. It’s the amount of chlorine sitting in the air, so they likely have an issue with their ventilation system. I tried to contact the manager to give them a polite heads up, but the email the front desk gave me bounced back.

Dirty halls decent rooms

Hallways were strewn with garbage and parts of the hallway floors were wet. Actual room was ok enough but the first impression was not the best. I think the have a lot of wildfire evacuation people staying there bored and anxious.

The property has a very nice lobby. Clean and appealing but once through the doors to the hallway going to our room, it was filthy to the point of disgusting. Carpet was filthy with stains that could be blood.
