Yes there were shops new by and is very close to the airport and town and only a few minutes walk to ine if the best beaches in aTagabe

Mary and Honore were amazing hosts, very welcoming and generous. They helped us arrange transport from airport and around town and brougt us breakfast! House is near airport so convenient for an overnight stay but also not far from town for longer stays.House has basic facilities you may need. Value for cost.Mary and Honore accomdated a late check out also which was great.
