The host was attentive and responsive. House was very clean. good location on the Bay and an easy 3 block walk to the Gulf. Screened porch. Access to Kayak and two beach chairs.

The perfect family house for our weekend. We are not necessarily beach people but we love to snorkel and explore. We were also happy that we could bring our dogs along.

Absolutely wonderful!

We had such a wonderful time. The house had everything we needed, I really loved the hoses outside to clean up with after the beach. I had my coffee with the crabs every morning, they were a joy to watch! We will definitely be back.

House location was awesome for us as well as the dock associated with the home …. The property manager was AMAZING…. Super attentive and even offered to send us her repair guy to assist with our dead boat battery …. Would definitely considered booking this home again !!

We had a great stay at the Bayhouse.

The house had a roomy screened in porch with the Bay breeze coming through To the living room. , which we enjoyed immensely. The dock out onto the bay was perfect to dock our carolina skiff for a bit of flats fishing. The upstairs bedrooms overlooked the water, had a super comfortable mattress, nice linens and there was plenty of pillows. We would book this place again but with more people, the house is roomy and would definitely be a great place for our extended family.

Great family vacation

We really enjoyed our family vacation ! We sat on the screened in back porch for the sunrise every morning with our coffee and it was beautiful!The location is nice because it is close to the park which made it easy to put in a boat and bring it to the dock at the house. The house does have an access across the street to get to the beach but we just enjoyed swimming at the park.I personally think the biggest bonus is having a host that is immediately responsive and really wants you to enjoy your vacation. Thanks to Kat!

Could use some updates

We had a great vacation, but the home was in need of a few updates and a thorough cleaning. Had to rewash most dishes in the cabinets and there was mildew on the upstairs bathroom walls and ceiling. The owner is very communicative and the home has a beautiful view of the bay.

Loved This House!

Our family enjoyed our stay so much. We will definitely come back again. Located just one mile from St. Joseph’s State Park and Eagle Harbor and one mile from The Trading Post, this is the perfect location. We loved waking up to views of the beautiful bay. Every evening, we walked two blocks to the Gulf for amazing sunsets! We are on the large screened porch. The owner/manager Kathy was wonderful and communicated with me great! Thank you so much for sharing your paradise with us!

we had a great time the yard had not been cut in weeks their was trash in the yard their was a snake on the porch ants in the down stair bunk bed, and in the pantry roaches outside and inside rats down stairs

Family vacation at Cape San Blas after Hurricane Helene

Really enjoyed the dock, and the short distance to the beach. We had a boat we used for fishing and the dock was great for that use. With no fault to the property we didn't catch many fish due to Hurricane Helene hitting on the prior week to our arrival. However, the property manager did an excellent job of getting the property ready post-hurricane which fortunately for us made landfall about a hundred miles away and limited its impact at Cape San Blas. We had regular updates from Katherine on the impact of Hurricane Helene before our arrival.

Repeat spot!

This is our family’s second time vacationing at Cape Breezes and we love it here. It’s a perfect size for 6 adults and 4 children (age 6 and under). The host is very respondent and accommodating. Each year we’ve all loved kayaking in the bay, finding sand dollars out in the sand bar, fishing, and hanging out on the porch and dock. We load up and head to the beach in minutes (there’s an access in walking distance but we have too much stuff with young kids). But alternate our days hanging out at the house/in the bay. We rented a boat one day and the tides/dock worked nicely. We love the quiet and chill nature of CSB and PSJ, with restaurants and groceries not terribly far, and hope to return next year!

Absolutely loved this house. The bay front location was perfect! House was clean and very well stocked and furnished. Plenty of space for 6 adults and 3 children. Also very comfortable. Hope to stay here again next year!

We had a great Memorial day weekend with friends and family. The bay views combined with the location of the property really made this trip worth it. I will stay here again!

Great property, perfect location!

We love this area and this was a great place to stay! Loved being on the bay and waking up to the sunrise from the bed! Walk to beach was quick enough and having the kayaks at the house for the bay was a huge plus! We hope to be back soon!

Loved it!

Our family had a blast enjoying this great house. We loved the bay and having a dock for a boat for the week. The only recommendation we have would be to add some seating out by the dock or perhaps even a deck that’s not covered so you can enjoy more of the sunshine.

Good property but some issues

This property was accurately listed, had a good location, and we had a really good time. I would have given it a better rating except there was many broken things in the property. Kayak paddles broken/missing, lightbulbs missing, porch door broken, closet doors broken and leaning on wall, kitchen faucet lose, etc. I will say that Stephanie the manager was extremely responsive and brought new paddles and lights over quickly and offered to fix these items which was very much appreciated. I’m not sure if the prior renters were just very tough on the place, or if the cleaning company was not informing them that things were broken, but it was a bit strange. Overall it’s a nice house and we loved the dock

Peaceful family get away offering a spectacular view & beautiful white sands beach.

First off I want to complement Debbe & Stefanie for managing some issues that came up. They were very responsive & made us feel like we were extended family by addressing them as quickly as possible. The home is spacious with plenty of room for comfort. Wonderful long porch to enjoy the beautiful Cape view with a grill at the other end. Very nice! Great A/C —cooling us from the Florida heat. Nice & clean inside but carport and grounds could use some TLC. Trash was left from previous renters attracting cockroaches & Florida rats. However, that was quickly remedied by management. The view is spectacular, if you get a chance walk down the nicely built pier & go out to the nearby sandbar which offers some amazing marine life! Stingrays, sea urchins & live Sandollars to name a few. Suggestion —have kayaks & paddles available to your clientele. This to me is a HUGE renters attraction, along with the boogie & skim boards for some fun in the ocean waves. Beaches offer beautiful white sand & within walking distance. Again a huge plus! Our family took night walks along the beach enjoying a variety of fun ocean night life. Ghost crabs & sea turtles to mention a few. We were fortunate to walk under the light of a full moon—Breathtaking!!! Suggestion — stock minimal necessities—Shampoo, conditioner, body soap in each of the bathrooms. With the restrictions placed by airlines it’s hard to bring supplies along. (My daughter flew in from NY to join us for a family vacation.) Put hand soaps at each sink & enough dishwasher & washing machine supply to take you through your vacationing time. Time is limited —along with nearby amenities on the Cape. This perhaps this was an oversight of housekeeping & again quickly remedied by management. As part of amenities—list you have a Keurig—I brought ours along (My husband & I drove) as well as enough pods for our time there. It wasn’t listed & I think this is a plus. Also suggest replacing burnt out light bulbs. I realize these were probably burnt out because renters might not shut off lights as they would in their own homes. But should be replaced for the incoming renters. Overall, we all had a delightful stay and would recommend Cape San Blas for a peaceful family get away. Thank you again Debbe and Stefanie! We look forward to our next trip!

Bay House is very Cozy and Comfortable

First time visit to the Cape. House was very clean and well kept. Communication from property management was excellent and not disruptive when they needed to repair a small item at the house. My preteen and young teen boys loved the access to the bay for swimming and kayaking while at the house. Beach access was easy and more convenient than expected. Only recommendation would be to add mirrors to the bedrooms. Everything was perfect and we hope to book again.
