Sanctuary at Thornton West is a beautifully appointed property with stunning vistas across the tropical landscape. Gardens surround the outdoor living space, framing the golf course and mountain views.
Located within the Thornton West gated estate, this two storey villa offers privacy and style. The ground level generous living and dining areas include a sophisticated kitchen, fully equipped for all your requirements. Floor to ceiling doors open onto the alfresco dining patio and courtyard with a grassed garden leading out to the saltwater pool. Take advantage of the balmy breezes while relaxing in the poolside cabana.
The first bedroom is set apart from the main house within its own pavilion, a few steps from the front door with en-suite bathroom, television and small courtyard. Upstairs you will find 3 beautifully decorated king bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms.Porta-cot and high chair also available.

We really enjoyed our time here. The house was super clean & comfortable & loved the pool.St Crispins cafe just a wander away is a gem. Certainly recommend this property.

Secluded hideaway yet convenient to amenities and attractions.

Thoroughly enjoyed or extended stay at St. CRISPINS! At various times we were joined by adult family and grandchildren. There was plenty of room to accommodate everyone comfortably, without feeling tight on space. The kitchen was well equipped, even including an air fryer! The beds were very comfortable. The only downside for us was the extremely uncomfortable couches. They were long past their 'use by date' as were the dining and outdoor chair pads, no life left in the foam at all. As we were in residence for a few weeks, this had quite an impact on us and our backs! An easy problem to rectify, however. All in all, a good stay.

The perfect escape from chilly Melbourne

This property was perfect for what we were after. There was ample room for everyone to spread out, and having an ensuite in every bedroom was a definite plus with 7 girls!! The place was spotless and in a beautiful location overlooking the golf course. TV's in every room, and the living room tv complete with all the apps (netflix, disney etc). The backyard provided a quiet oasis to enjoy a cup of tea (or wine!) and a perfect place to soak up some sunshine by the pool. Only a 5 min drive into the centre of Port Douglas, I would definitely recommend this place to any large groups or families.
