Excellent apartment

Great apartment with everything you need. Leontina, the owner, is very friendly. The terrace has fabulous views and great for eating breakfast or a glass of wine. Ponta da Sol is a short drive and a nice little town with cafes and restaurants. The location is a great base for exploring the island. The drive up the hill is steep and twisty (but not narrow) but if you are intending to drive in Madeira that is something you have to accept. It is worth it!

Glorious

Leontina is a delightful host! The property is on the top floor of her home with astounding views across the valley and to the ocean. Everything meticulously clean and everything you could need provided including wood burner. Traditional decor, beds very comfy. The road outside is very steep- my 80+ year old parents managed but might not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems. Thank you so much we loved our stay and your kindness shone through x

Just perfect.

Have visited Maderia 14 times and this is the best holiday property we have rented. Very comfortable property with stunning views. We came as guests and left as 0friends. The owner was delightful. We will be back. Sally and mike xx

Es ist wie nach Hause kommen

Wir sind Wiederholungstäter und haben unseren Aufenthalt im Dezember 24 genauso genossen, wie schon im August 23. Die Die Wohnung ist großzügig und hat alles was man braucht. Die Aussicht ist einfach jeden Morgen schön. Aber an zu Hause erinnert es mich wegen der Gastfreundschaft von Leontina. Sie verwöhnt ihre Gäste mit selbstgebackenem Brot und Obst und Gemüse aus Ihrem Garten. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. LG Birgit aus Nürnberg

Accueil chaleureux et discrétion de la part de Léontina. Nous nous sommes sentis chez nous avec tout le nécessaire et les petites attentions. Propreté irréprochable de la maison. Vue magnifique sur la mer et les villages alentour. On peut également compter sur le mari de Léontina pour les conseils pour se garer en côte, hihi... Maison au calme pour se poser le soir après les journées bien remplies. Madère est une île superbe où il fait bon vivre entre randonnées et points de vue à couper le souffle. Ferienwohnung Ponta do Sol

Schöne großzügige Wohnung mit toller Aussicht. Es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, sogar mit Spülmaschine. Auto ist empfehlenswert, Geschäfte und Restaurants 10 Autominuten den Berg hinunter. Vermieterin Leontina war sehr gastfreundlich und hat uns mit Obst, Gemüse und Brot reichlich versorgt.

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit fantastischen Blick auf das Meer

Die Ferienwohnung liegt am Rand von Ponta do Sol auf 550m Höhe über dem Meer. Damit hat man einen fantastischen Blick von dem langen Balkon und der Terrasse auf das Meer. Bedingt durch die Lage muss man vom Ortskern und den Verbindungsstraßen einige steile Kehren durch den Ort den Hang hinauf zur Wohnung fahren, das sind aber ganz normale Straßen wie auf ganz Madeira üblich. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, Perfekt für ein oder zwei Paare oder eine Familie. Es gibt drei Schlafzimmer, zwei große Bäder ein Wohnraum und eine Essküche. Dazu ein langer schmaler Balkon mit Vormittagssonne und eine Terrasse mit Sonne ab dem Nachmittag. Die Küche ist mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet, grosser Kühlschrank mit TK-Fach, Mikrowelle, Backofen, Kontaktgrill, Ceranherd ,Wasserkocher, etc. Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich, heißes Wasser, gutes WLAN, Mobilempfang 4G/5G. Ganz besonders freundlich waren die Vermieter, die unten im Haus leben. Leontina hat uns für den ersten Tag Kuchen, Bananen, Milch, Butter und selbstgebackenes Brot hingestellt und da wir durch verspätete Anreise unseren Mietwagen nachts nicht abholen konnten hat uns Leontinas Mann sogar am nächsten Tag zum Flughafen (1h Fahrt) gebracht. Ponta do Sol ist ein schöner kleiner Ort und idealer Ausgangspunkt um die Insel zu erkunden. Wir haben die zwei Wochen auf Madeira sehr genossen und das lag auch zu großen Teilen an der schönen Ferienwohnung und der wunderbaren Gastfreundschaft unserer Vermieter.

Sonnige Tage bei 22 Grad Urlaub

Haus entsprach der Beschreibung. Die Fahrt von der Tankstelle zum Haus ca. 15. Min. Nicht immer leicht zu fahren. Ruhige Lage, gelegentlich Hundegebell. Bei ca. 23 Grad, tagsüber kein Regen, angenehme Zeit. Levada war in ca. 5 Min. zu erreichen.

Un Havre de paix dans les hauteurs de Ponta do sol

Nous avons passée 2 semaines ressourçantes dans cet appartement très spactieux ,bien équipé et doté d'une vue exeptionnelle sur la baie. Cette location,proche des lévadas et des sentiers de montagne nous a permis de pratiquer la randonnée en famille et de découvrir l'authenticité de Madère. Un grand merci à Léontina pour son accueil et sa gentillesse.

Perfekte Ferienwohnung

Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hat einen Obstkorb und Wein vorbereitet, zwischendurch wurden wir mit Gebäck verwöhnt. Sehr lecker! Die Fahrt zur Unterkunft ist ein kleines Abendteuer. Man muss sich auf steile und kurvige Straßen einstellen, wie auf der geamten Insel auch. Der Blick von der Terasse ist fantastisch. Die Ferienwohnung war super. Klare Weiterempfehlung! Vielen Dank für Alles.

Vista maravilhosa!

A Senhora Leontina foi muito atenciosa conosco e prestativa. A casa é bem localizada, sem barulho, bem conservada, limpa e oferece tudo o que se necessita para uma estada tranquila. Foi muito bom tomar café na sacada com vista para o mar. Eu recomendo essa casa e com certeza a escolherei novamente, caso eu retorne a Madeira. Muito obrigada Dona Leontina por toda sua atencao para conosco!

It has been worth it

The landlord is very nice and the view from the balcony to a part of the island and the sea is fantastic. The apartment is very spacious and we felt very comfortable. We have recovered well in the 14 days.

A beautiful apartment, clean and well-equipped. An amazing view of the sea and mountains. very relaxing atmosphere waking up in the countryside. And the landlady, signora leontina, is the best! such a warm personality, very caring but not intrusive. we loved staying there and when we go back to Madeira, this will be the place. Gepflegte Unterkunft in einem kleinen, ruhigen Ort gelegen

Ca. 45 Minuten vom Flughafen liegt dieses Ferienhaus in einem ganz kleinen Ort. Fahrt zum Einkaufen in den größeren Supermarkt ca. 20 Minuten. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden, wenn mal etwas feht, wie z.B. ein Schneidbrett, wird es sofort nachgereicht. Die Vermieterin ist wirklich sehr nett, hat einen Obstkorb und Wein vorbereitet, zwischen wurden wir mit exotischen Früchten wie z.B. Mangos und anderen Früchten verwöhnt. Die Levada Moinho ist sehr empfehlenswert, 5 Minuten mit dem Auto hinzufahren. Würden wir noch einmal die Unterkunft aufsuchen? Ja, auf alle Fälle. Es war sauber und irgendwelche Tiere waren nicht zu sehen.
