Typical Mallorcan family house from the 19th century with swimming pool: This modern house is located in one of the entrances of Pollensa with easy parking and a great location to visit the town of Pollensa and the surrounding area.
It is a typical Mallorcan family home of the nineteenth century (recorded in 1875) with building materials are stone, sandstone, wood (pine and cypress) and traditional Mallorcan floors.
Completely renovated in 2004 respecting the distribution and original materials of the house, restoring them and giving importance to its simplicity characteristic of Majorcan style.
The house has three floors of 100m2 each, with a courtyard of 70 m2. On the ground floor there is a hall, a kitchen, a dining room, a living room and a small pantry located under the stairs. The ground stone is typical of old Mallorcan houses.
There is a yard with toilet, laundry and pool 3mx4m. On the ground floor there is also a garage for up to 6 bicycles and a biomass boiler.
On the first floor with original Mallorcan floors, there are 2 bedrooms, one with shower, a bathroom and a reading room.
On the third floor, with polished concrete floor, we find a suite of 50 m2 with bathroom with double shower.
The house has WIFI and air conditioning and is fully equipped for 6 adults.

It's was ok ..
The property was ok ..top of the house great apart from no towel hooks at all !! So it was very difficult to find anywhere to hang them , but we was disappointed with the next level down , the bedroom with twin beds and a.c. had had one bed removed ??? So two ladies had to use the twin room with no air conditioning, very uncomftable, the other double bed was so noisey it continiously squeaked wenever you moved ! ...also what we couldn't understand was the whole house was full of personal paperwork and bits and pieces, I guess at least 60 % of the cupboards and drawers were already full , it was as if we were sharing with other people !!! ..the outside area had a table that was so unsteady we could never of eaten outside and chairs that were falling apart , the outside toilet smealt terrible , ...we had 1 towel each and a small hand towel ..not good enough I am afraid , .the crockery in the kitchen had to be washed before we could use it , and the floors upstairs were dirty .....the positives are ..bathrooms were ok , and the pool was nice ...but we played a good amount of money for this house and it really wasn't good value , we loved pollensa and will be back next year but not to this property ...but we went out a lot and in general had a great time ..just a shame we didn't look forward to coming home ....i wouldn't rent it again.and no contact from the rental company, not even an information pack , shame because it could of been so lovely

Beautifully renovated town house 5-10mins walk from central square in Pollenca
We spent a very enjoyable week at this property on the edge of Pollenca old town. The entire property was beautifully
done with an amazing private outside area at the back with private plunge pool, great BBQ, enough lounge seating for all 8 of us and sun until 8.30pm. We stayed in the most impressive bedroom at the top of the house with double shower and very comfy bed. The owner was very helpful in replacing the broken washing machine. Pollenca is a great little town, lovely boutique shops and good restaurants. My only small criticism was there was no air,-conditioning in one of the bedrooms. Thanks for s great week
