Walls are not insulated. I could hear conversations from other rooms which lasted until 3 in the morning. My room had fish odor as if someone had cut open raw fish in the room. They charged me 10,000 won for misplacing a room key card. Never heard of that before. I can only surmise to a difference in culture. An average hotel relative other hotels in different cities but I think for this small town it’s considered to be in upper crust

The hotel is in a convenient location, close to Yeongildae Beach and Yeongildae Pavilion. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes along Haean-ro, making it easy to explore the area. The room was clean and decent overall, and the hotel offers underground parking, which is a nice bonus. One highlight is that the Do Not Disturb café is located right at ground level. However, we didn’t find out about the discount for hotel guests until the last day, as the notice was written only in Korean. The café staff mentioned it when we were checking out, which was a bit disappointing—we would have appreciated knowing earlier. The only downsides were that the lighting in the room was quite dim, and the air conditioning vent blows directly onto the beds, making it uncomfortably cold at night. It would be much better if both the lighting and airflow could be adjusted.

A really lovely hotel for an overnight stay in Pohang. Expedia states it was laundry facilities but this is not the case. A laundry place is only a short walk away though. Twin rooms are very small but the family room is a good size.
