You can do as much or as little as you want at this newly updated all-inclusive resort set on a lovely lake in the Pocono mountains. They truly believe in customer service and offer a wide range of activities to suit almost everyone. Some activities come with an additional cost but it is well worth it. This is an adults only resort. The food is fresh, healthy, local and delicious. We are already planning on returning.
Three close girlfriends and I recently stayed at the Lodge at Woodloch. The experience was wonderful! The food was amazing, the classes offered were engaging and of a wide variety. We met couples, mothers/daughters, other friend groups who wo returning for their third, 4th and 7th visits. Staff was courteous, helpful and friendly. Spa services were great and the facility provided many places to either sit quietly to read or find an activity of your choosing. Kudos to Cyndi and her fitness staff who were all amazing. Barry White Yoga and DrimsAlive! are a must. We loved the entire pool, steam room, sauna and hot tub area. We came back relaxed, rejuvenated and ready for to tackle 2019 with vigor. Needless to say, we WILL be back. Thank you for a great getaway.
Highly recommend The Lodge at Woodloch. Accommodations, food, spa treatments and classes offered are excellent. Everything is enjoyable and relaxing. Great quality all around. Customer Service excellent with a beyond friendly staff. A truly Zen experience, I highly recommend!!! Can’t wait to go back.
Woodloch exceeded our every expectation! From the enthusiastic gate security (who greeted us as though he was waiting just for us), the friendly valet, the warmth of the check in staff (who had our registration all ready for us when we walked in), the accommodating spa staff, the amazing Tree waitstaff and hostesses (who even memorized where we sat to make sure they didn’t seat us in the same place twice)...every single staff member treated us like royalty. The spa was a slice of heaven...great accommodations, showers, comfy robes, steam room, super cool indoor and outdoor hot tubs, We both enjoyed massages in the couples suite, followed by nap time in the whisper room. The fitness classes we took - stretch class, core fusion, and conditioning - were led by expert, friendly instructors. Every single meal was a culinary delight - innovative menus, farm to table fresh, perfect portions - truly the best food that we’ve ever experienced on vacation. Our room was spacious, comfortable, well appointed, and clean. There was no need to venture off property during our two night stay...aside from a long, leisurely walk around the beautiful walking trails that winded in and out of the woods. Thank you Woodloch for this perfect getaway! We will be back!
This spa has everything to offer, from the minute you arrive, greeted by welcoming Robert at the gate to the parking attendants who take your car and store Your luggage, and then put in your room when it is ready, to the restaurant staff, the spa services staff, all competent and professional, who also make you feel special. I really can't say enough about the friendly and helpful staff. The instructors were very knowledgable and made each class fun, especially the water trampoline class. The newest forest bathing walk on the grounds is so informative and interesting
We wanted to have a different Thanksgiving this year. We Googled “Luxury Spa In PA” and came up with the Lodge at Woodloch. What an absolutely fabulous find. Very tranquil setting. A diverse array of activities. Fabulous food. We’ll be back.
We just spend a weekend at the Lodge at Woodloch to celebrate an anniversary. This was our fifth visit there over the past ten years or so. Its one of our favorite places as a couple to go to spend time away from our children and reconnect. It remains beautiful and peaceful (outside). However, this visit in particular, we noticed a huge change in the ability to provide their usual top notch service and the general ambiance. Our visit last year and especially this past weekend, there were so many large groups that as a couple, we felt completely forgotten. Usually when we tell them prior to our visit that we are celebrating an occasion, there is something in the room waiting for us. Not this time. While they reached out to us several times to schedule spa and dining appointments, we usually don't really schedule too far in advance as we've never had to. This time there were wait lists and dining reservations close to 9pm. As a solo person in the ladies locker room, there was no attention paid to showing me around or even showing me to a locker and giving me sandals, however that attention seemed to go to large groups being toured. Each of our two dinners, we had dinner reservations only to be told when we arrived that we would need to sit in one of the side rooms. On our second night, we insisted we would like to wait for a table in the main room by the window. We waited at the bar where it took 10 minutes to be able to order a drink and then 40 minutes for a table. Once we sat most of our meal we had to deal with two very rowdy and loud groups who were dancing and screaming. We had no server we could identify but the amazing manager took our order and served our food and was incredibly apologetic about the situation. Most of the staff looked horrified at the behavior of these groups but no one intervened. We spoke with the restaurant manager and the front desk about it, and spoke with the front desk manager the next morning again who was very apologetic. Despite all of this feedback, we have not been contacted after out stay except three generic emails asking us to "rate our stay" and post a review on trip advisor (be careful what you wish for). The bottom line from my perspective is that the weekends at the Lodge at Woodloch is no longer a peaceful time for couples. They seem ill-equipped to manage these groups, and I told them that it's starting to feel very Vegas. I love Vegas, but I definitely don't expect that feeling when we are paying these prices to go enjoy the beauty of Hawley, PA. I really hope they find a better flow and management to the changing demographic, but I suspect we will be visiting elsewhere for future couple time.
My husband and I went for a quick get-a-way to the Lodge at Woodloch. If you have the opportunity, GO! We laughed and sweated to the unique excersize class, Pound & Drums Alive. So much fun. The food is fabulous, the accomodations were so comfortable, and the staff of people couldn't have been nicer. We look forward to a return trip. This place is great for couples, girl's trip, mother-daughter, and babymoon getaways.
This was our 3rd year spending time at The Lodge at Woodloch. We make time every year before the busy holidays to unwind and reconnect. It is a beautiful place. The food is fabulous, the beds are the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, the spa treatments are wonderful. Everything about this place is extraordinary. I highly recommend it for a girls trip or a couples get away.
Everything was geared to visitors enjoyment. Price of lodging included 3 meals a day (delicious), activities ( gym, hiking, yoga, pool, and relaxing). Depending on the season golf, water activities, hikes of varying abilities are available. Next time we stay longer !!
