We had a wonderful experience at this resort. The food was delicious, portions were excellent, we were delighted with the wonderful stuff. The drinks were amazing. What a wonderful idea to have a celebration time every day at 1:26 PM. We will definitely come back here. This is my for the best hotel and resort we have ever been at.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this resort. Our room was clean and spacious, and the resort grounds were beautifully maintained. The food was very good—we especially enjoyed dinner at The Grill, Florella, and Flor de Sal. The only downside was the swim-up room. While we paid extra for it, we weren’t able to fully enjoy the swim-up pool because the water was freezing cold and not heated, which felt like a bit of a waste. That said, the staff truly made this experience exceptional. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and welcoming—especially Itzel, Alberto, Brenda at the front desk, and Mario and Oswaldo. Every staff member we encountered was wonderful. I sincerely hope management recognizes how valuable their team is and takes great care of them, because they are truly what made this feel like a five-star experience. We would absolutely stay at this resort again—just likely without the swim-up room next time.

I celebrated my 28th anniversary at this hotel. Let me tell you it’s absolutely breathtaking. The service is immaculate here. From the time we arrived we were met with a fresh lemon scented warm damp towel to wipe our faces. We weren’t able to get a room until 3pm however we were allowed to eat and use all amenities until we were assigned a room. We had a personal butler….Yes, a butler her name was Katherine, she was awesome, very helpful and checked in with us daily. We had amazing pool service from Raul, he was always checking on us, getting us drinks and food quickly. Omar the waiter in La Cocina had a great personality loved to chat and was very personable. Carlos at bell desk was super friendly and helpful very attentive for sure. The filet mignon at the steakhouse was on point and Christian our server was awesome, he made sure my food never touched anything I was allergic to. The Dj In the speakeasy was on fire , he kept everyone dancing all night. 9:30 to 12 am is not enough, the music should end at 1 am when they close. Drinks are top shelf at every bar, we had access to the VIP lounge on the 5th floor the view is gorgeous from the balcony and the staff are ready to make you anything or drink you would like. We absolutely loved it here and we would stay forever if we could.

Everything was clean! Weather and beach beautiful! Staff was nice! Food was pretty good too! I thought the bed was hard though. Overall a nice resort.

The people were nice and also the hotel but I give this place a 6/10 to be honest. The food was mostly terrible! The Grill had great breakfast but that’s as far as it goes. The Barbecue they had poolside was shockingly amazing compared to all the restaurants but we ate off site. I’m just sad that I paid so much for this hotel, for them to provide so little in food and entertainment. The drinks were pretty good but I’ve had better on cruise ships, which is my preferred type of vacation. Overall the best time I had in Playa del Carmen was on my excursion. Nice people but not a place id come back to again.

The beach area was great but a bit crowded, the beds weren't very comfortable.The servers at the grill were excellent and attentive both dinner and breakfastthere is incredible. Staff by the by the beach was amazing. Wasn't to fond of the breakfast buffet though.

Rooms were well maintained, cleaning staff made the room spotless daily. Carlos and Evelyne at the lobby bar were phenomenal. The quality of drinks they made were outstanding. Veni the server on the beach and pool was very attentive to all our needs. Hotel is also perfectly located if you want to get off the resort for shopping or other dining.

This place is beautiful! Food and drink great and service great. Lost a star because we upgraded to Vip, and that was worth it, but last day they decided to charge us additional for cabana by pool that we already upgraded for. So, that was weird, and rude as we decided to not pay additional after we already payed additional and used cabana all week. Just made trip a little bitter at end. So make sure u are clear about alll that is included in upgrade before u pay.

Rooms were very spacious and clean. The resort was very well maintained and clean. The restaurants on site were very good and no reservations needed. The location was close to many shops and restaurants. Staff was very attentive and very helpful. Highly recommended.

The service from the staff was the best! Friendly, curteous, quick. They were helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and fridge kept stocked. The service was incredible. The food was amazing, no complaints. We particularly loved the Japanese and Grill restaurants. Sebas in the lobby bar made excellent cocktails, ask for his special drink the 'Sebastian Strong'! The music and champagne toast was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful stay
