We had a lovely stay earlier this month and were very impressed with the renovations that have recently been carried out in the hotel. We had a lovely relaxing stay and enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant. We enjoyed a drink in the bar after our meal . All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely like to stay at Pine Trees again soon.

Shabby old property. Threadbare carpets, plywood doors with Yale locks. Weird corridors terrible lighting and a boiling hot room. Openerd the window in 109 and at 4am the wheely bins were all taken out over the cobbles. Also, I rarely bother to leave a bad review - but this place was bad enough to check out early and looose a night

Beautiful grounds, fabulous refurb, rooms are spotless, loved the gorgeous decor. All staff very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Loved the attention to detail, we were given a welcome drink, also there’s a seating area set up near rooms, providing sweet and savoury snacks. On checkout we were also given a leaving treat( small bag of assorted sweets). All greatly appreciated. We Definetly plan to return and would highly recommend this gorgeous boutique hotel.

Excellent stay at the coach house with our furry freeloader. The studio was cosy, well equipped and furnished to a high standard. The hotel itself was very nice and stuff very friendly and welcoming. Our only issue was with the dining where our meals had issues with quality and timing. Waiting 45 minutes for our breakfast order and then our dinner being partially cooked. I would stay here again, I just wouldn’t dine here again.

Hotel was amazing. Lovely thoughtful extras. Also great meal in the restaurant for dinner. One of our best in Scotland. Reception team also great. Only thing I could suggest needs a little more attention is breakfast service. Seems understaffed. Long waits, missed items both days. Otherwise it would be 5/5. Down to earth luxury.

Amazing hotel! The whole hotel is beautifully decorated and provides a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Lovely, friendly staff. Really comfortable room with lots of added extras, we had everything we needed. Only negatives were: our room was very hot and a bit noisy as we had to have the windows open. But overall we had an excellent time and would definitely return.
