Our tour group stayed here three nights, and I was generally well pleased. I was not too crazy about their breakfast buffet - adequate, but have had better elsewhere. The room was comfortable, the staff ostpitable, and it was the only place this trail where I was able to avail myself of a swimming pool. I am pleased to recommend this hotel.
very nice hotel in quite area .. i went there on business trip staff are very helpful .. its somehow far from the downtown but room is very luxury room is very clean and every thing is well prepared i will come back next time
Travelled with family, including grandparents and young children, toddler and baby. Breakfast was delicious, rooms were beautiful, staff were very friendly and very helpful. Staff were very accommodating when helping to deal with young children, including providing high-chairs for the suites and quickly providing extra linen/bedding when necessary. Pool was beautiful, if very windy due to being up high. Not suitable for children though. Used the hotel taxi service to travel to a wedding, but there was no baby seats/booster seats available. Overall, excellent hotel experience, not designed for or ideal for families.
I spent three nights here for a business trip and I loved this hotel. Rooms are well equipped and very comfortable in every way. The hotel restaurant is amazing, food is delicious, ambiance is great and the staff is extraordinarily personable and knowledgeable.
Spent a couple nights here for our anniversary. Very classy hotel with amazing front staff who were welcoming. Arianna and Maria are very talented and understand the art of customer service. We got an upgrade to a suite so made the experience worthwhile. Other positives are the very clean and picturesque surroundings, the twice a day room service, the wonderful porters (two guys) and the spa. Few negatives include the fact the rooftop pool was closed, the staff during breakfast at the restaurant could perform better and smile more. The food selection wasn't particularly much to write home about. All in all it is located in a nice part of Montecatini, parking options are plentiful and it is definitely a hotel I would revisit in future.
Beautiful hotel set in small beautiful grounds. Reception is elegant and the staff are great. Helpful, friendly, polite and speak Great english amongst other languages. Porters polite and friendly. Our bags arrived in our room a couple of minutes after we had been taken to our room by a member of the reception staff. As we had told them we were taking our dog they had a small dog bed and water bowl in the room waiting for her. She was treated like a little rockstar by the staff from the cleaners to the managers all taking the time to stop and fuss her. Breakfast was excellent and the evening meals in the hotel are what you would expect from a 5 star hotel and more. The restaurant staff were brilliant and very friendly. The spa is great the hydromassage pool is amazing. We will be going back to this hotel in the next few months.
Stayed for 2 nights over the New Year. Lovely luxury hotel, lavishly furnish with excellent staff. Premium Breakfast with quality choice. Value for money ... OK considering the peak dates. Only disappointment I would like to point out to the management is the fact that after a spectacular New Years Eve dinner (€140 per person) I would have expected a glass of sparkling wine at midnight to celebrate the new year. Being only a couple it didn't make sense to purchase a bottle of champagne or pay a ridiculous price for two flutes of sparkling wine. Nevertheless fantastic hotel and great hospitality. Will return to try out the spa.
This is a lovely hotel, very clean and the staff are so helpful. It is perfectly placed for the town, trains, Funicular etc. Only 45 mins from Florence on the train and 25 from Lucca. Don't forget to validate your train tickets in the green wall box before you get on the train or you'll be fined. We had a lovely stay here and I left some clothes there and didn't realise until I unpacked at home. The hotel staff had already found them and they wrapped them. beautifully and got them back to me in the UK. Would certainly go back again. Lovely town and take a trip on the Funicular up to Montacatini Alto, the old town and have a meal in Wow restaurant, which has a beautiful view down over the valley.
Wonderful Hotel. Most of the front desk staff speak English very well. They have Internet, an Elevator, wonderful breakfast every morning (ours was free), excellent dinners but high priced. Close to everything, including the train station which goes to Florence, which goes everywhere. We had a car, but parking is hard, so we took train everywhere, Rome, Venice, etc. Very good restaurants all around. Across the Piazza there is a Pizza Place that is wonderful and not expensive. The front desk staff is wonderful.
Very nice and good realization of the modernization of this old traditional house. Fantastic new restiling and very nice architecutural work. One feels very welcome andcomfortable here. Bautyful spa and relax-sector, where one can easily relax. Good and sufficient breakfast-buffet. Unfortunately the materasses of the beds are definitely to hard, so that one doesn't feel very relaxed in the morning. Other negative point: The Menue-card prices aren't transparent and one has first to ask the prices, to get to know how much one is going to spend for a dinner.
