Late summer getaway

Had a fab holiday at Golden Taurus...the room was spacious, and the kids loved their dedicated bedroom and bathroom; plenty of hotel pools to choose from, when they didn't feel like going to the Aquapark and Sports area which was so convenient. The staff were excelllent and so friendly; the buffet restaurant had a great variety of good quality ( my only constructive criticism would be that they could manage the breakfast queues for eggs and pancakes better; I stopped queuing for eggs after day 2), the bar snacks were excellent ( hot dogs and burgers better than the restaurant )..entertainment was very good and the hotel had everything you might need

I was half board and the food is really nice. We were able to get sun loungers even if we got to the pool early afternoon. Lunch was a reasonable price. Minimal queues at the aqua park. My children enjoyed the kids club and all the entertainment and activities. The pool was so much fun. The room is really nice with the children in their own room. Lots of wardrobe space. Bathroom is spacious. I was disappointed the beach is small stones rather than sand. The lift to our room didn't work a few times. I was told the taxi to the airport was 125 euros but he was on a meter.

Very dirty

If I could give this hotel less than 1 star for cleanliness I would. There was black mould all over the bathroom, thick dust all over the room and the linen was dirty. The service was not good. My son was sick during our stay and they were incredibly unhelpful. The buffet was as you'd expect. The wait staff presented as unhappy, when ordering drinks heavy sighs and eye rolls followed. The entertainment seemed fun. The hotel is generally incredibly run down. We avoided the lifts as you were lucky if you could ever get one. Usual thing with people reserving their sun chairs from silly o'clock but staff did nothing to deter this. The local area is not particularly desirable so a lot of time was spent in the hotel so would have preferred it to be a more enjoyable experience. This is not a 4 star hotel in my opinion. If you know that and go with low expectations you'll be fine. Probably a good idea to bring cleaning products!

Excellent refurbished hotel in a quiet area with easy access to the train station and local bars and restaurants. Rooms are comfortable and modern. Good entertainment for adults and kids. Will definitely return!

The staff are very rude they over book the hotel with some local people and they are rude make you feel very uncomfortable In the website say you can rent bicycle and different things and book for day out But nothing like that Very miss leading Very bad experience The wore part I noticed they divide all the colour people one side and white people into one side Can’t believe some places still doing that but happy to take your money Still treat you like a garbage That was my experience I want to share But remember when you book don’t expect receptionist staff will be nice to you I’m happy to be back home Good luck to everyone

This is our second time staying here. It was lovely. Always clean from top to bottom. Great food. Lively environment. Great for kids as it always offered entertainment. Approx 7 min walk to train station. Indoor pool was closed this time ( I assume it is closed in summer time.) when we came last time it was in October and if I’m honest, the indoor pool needed a good deep clean and new grouting. Absolutely all the staff including the cleaning staff and cooks were lovely. Can’t wait to return.
