Stylish Cabin with Stunning Mountain/Forest Views
This log cabin is located on a private dirt road on the north side of Strawberry mountain, with the valley below and the mountain behind the house. It`s peaceful, quiet, you`ll rarely see a car go by and almost never anyone walking by. It`s surrounded by tall pines, junipers, and oaks.
When it rains or when snow is melting, the creek flows over the little bridge on the road. It`s a quick walk down to it, and a short steep walk back up!
It`s a joy to stay here if you love solitude and privacy
The cabin is airy and light, with many amenities to make your stay memorable! The lot is surrounded by tall ponderosa pines, oak, and juniper trees. It is lush and green in the summer, yellow and orange in the fall, and opens up the views in the winter when the leaves are gone.
MAIN FLOOR
There is one large bedroom next to the full bathroom on the main floor, with a top-rated Helix king bed, an adjustable stand-up desk and printer, a 6-drawer dresser, and a large closet with shelves and hangers. Plush robes are provided.
There is a spacious and very well-stocked kitchen with an induction stovetop, microwave, and a big refrigerator that has a built-in water pitcher and makes 2 sizes of ice cubes. It has a large island that makes it easy to all pitch in and prepare meals together.
Connected to the kitchen is the living room, which has the most amazing chalet window looking out to the forest. It has comfortable seating, a big Roku TV, and a wood stove to keep you warm October1-May 1. We even provide the wood and some fire starters.
LOFT
Another sleeping area is in the loft. There is a queen Helix bed there, a dresser, and a half-bath in the loft with only a toilet and sink.
A twin bed with 3 beanbag chairs and a Roku TV are in the secret hideaway room. See if you can find it! There is a skylight in the room, and for night-time, a lamp that shines stars across the room. An air mattress can be set up, also.
There is a twin bed in the nook of the downstairs living room. In addition to an extra place to sleep, it can be used as a day bed for a nice nap or for watching the Roku TV.
OUTSIDE
The front porch runs along the width of the cabin. On the partially covered porch, there are several seating choices, and a pub table for two to enjoy lunch outside. Put some black-oil sunflower seeds out and squirrels, chipmonks, and birds will come once they get used to you. There is also a propane grill on the porch.
There is a 6-seat dining table outside in the yard for enjoying al fresco meals. In the open area of the yard, you can sit outside and enjoy a propane fire, or turn off all the lights and have the most amazing star experience you can imagine. Truly, it`s magnificent.
Important: Before you arrive, you will be asked to complete info for a damage waiver through third-party provider Truvi. They will contact you via email and/or text to complete the process. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in. There is a $35 fee, but you are protected for up to $500 in accidental damage.
Once you book, you will receive our digital guest guidebook app that you can add to your phone screen. It has lots of info about the cabin, including amenities, instructions, wifi, safety and rules, communication with the host. You`ll also find an entire Local Area Attractions section, so you`ll know where to eat, the best hikes, shopping, and day trips.
You are free to contact the host for anything that you can`t find in the guidebook.
This cabin is located just above the foot of Strawberry Mountain, and while there are a few houses nearby, it`s very quiet and secluded. You`ll need 4wd or chains if it`s snowy, but other than that, a regular sedan can easily make it up the hill.
In the winter, we get can sometimes get a lot of snow and the county doesn`t plow it. If we can`t clear it or get someone to clear it, you`ll need 4WD and/or chains to get up the hill and down the driveway. It`s unpredictable how much and when we’ll get snow, and can`t promise that it will be clear.
You may want to consider travel insurance from November through March since we don’t refund based on weather and closed highways and roads. We recommend travel insurance anytime, really. Airbnb has an option for it.
There is no fenced yard for your dogs, and we don’t allow you to tether them when you are not with them. Keep your pooches safe, don’t leave them alone outside. That goes for young children as well, there is a steep ravine that runs along the side of the lot.
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

Wonderful Stay in Strawberry!
Our family enjoyed our stay in Strawberry. The wildlife in the backyard was a wonderful surprise. The gated deck allowed the entire family (even fur babies) a comfortable space to watch wildlife. We highly recommend this cabin.

Perfect Cabin Getaway
This was a last minute booking to save our vacation plans that went awry. Debbie was awesome and made sure we had everything we needed. She was super attentive and the cabin in the woods was perfectly located to let us get in all the long hikes we wanted.

Just what we needed for a quick get away.
We had an amazing stay at this cozy log cabin. The place was spotless, super comfy, and had such a cozy vibe. We felt right at home. We loved the location as it was quiet with plenty of seperation from neighbors. I was impressed by how well stocked the house was in the kitchen and bathrooms. You can tell the owners really take pride in making their guests comfortable. Our host Debbie was so great as well as she made sure our trip went off with out a hickup. Her guide for the house and things to do around Strawberry was great. She thought of everything that gets asked by her guests and wrapped it up into a nice little app which made things really easy during our stay.
Thank you Debbie for a great stay and we hope to be back soon!

We loved this cabin and would rent it again. It had everything we needed and the beds are really comfortable. The porch is the best part. It is so close to all the cute places in Strawberry and Pine. We had a great time.

Comfy gathering place
This cabin was all we had hoped for. The layout was perfect, my 10 year old grand daughter especially enjoyed her own “kid space “! The downstairs bedroom was very spacious, and the king size bed was a dream! Loved the kitchen area, very well stocked with everything you would need, induction stove top was amazing! The setting was very secluded and quiet, loved having morning coffee on the front porch and watching the hummingbirds. Great accommodation, Dave and Debbie are awesome hosts, will definitely be going back!

Cozy Cabin Getaway
This property is gorgeous and the cabin is so cozy. The master king bed is one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in and everything is very clean and tidy. Debbie and Dave were on point with communication. There is wildlife everywhere (we SO enjoyed all of the elk!) and enjoyed sitting on the covered patio to eat our meals/drink our coffee while taking in the scenery. We will definitely be returning!!!
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cabin in Strawberry, AZ, and it exceeded all our expectations! Nestled in a serene and picturesque setting, this cabin is the perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.
The cabin itself is beautifully maintained and immaculately clean. The rustic decor combined with modern amenities provided a cozy yet luxurious experience. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare our meals, and the living area, with its comfortable furniture and floor to ceiling windows, was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
The outdoor space is absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed sipping our morning coffee on the spacious deck while taking in the stunning views of the surrounding woods.
The location is ideal – secluded enough for peace and quiet, yet close enough to local attractions and fishing. We had a great time exploring the charming town with its quaint shops and friendly locals.
The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Their attention to detail and hospitality truly made our visit special.
Overall, this cabin is a gem, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful place!

Wonderful place to stay
You can't go wrong with this cabin in the woods. Very easy access from the highway but far enough away that you can't hear it at all. No problem for any type of vehicle to navigate to the cabin, could be a problem without 4X4 if it's snowing. The views are very nice and the morning and evening walks with the pups were pleasant with very little traffic. The cabin has everything that you'll need from AC, all essential kitchen appliances and utensils, comfortable bedding and chairs. There are two large TV's, but we never turned them on so can't say what the reception was like, Wi-Fi was fast and worked perfectly. Any issues were promptly taken care of by Debbie with vary fast responses. If you spend time on the deck don't be surprised when you are visited by elk, deer, javelina and a host of other small furry creatures. The drive into town is only 1.5 miles away and 5 miles to Pine. I highly recommend the 15 mile drive up the hill to the Rim Road if you have a high clearance vehicle, spectacular views. I car could do this drive, but it would be a bit hard on it.
