What can I say. This villa was beyond expectations. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The location was beautiful with a wonderful view of the sunset over the mountains. There was plenty to do in the villa with the games room, which kept all my children entertained. The property was spotless on arrival and there were fresh towels provided. The rooms and beds were comfortable and had plenty of space and facilities, including a master bedroom with en-suite. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay with plenty of crockery and pans for cooking.I had been anxious about where I would charge my electric vehicle during the stay and where the charging point would be but the hosts also provided me with this facility! This meant I could charge my car overnight, which was most convenient. there was plenty of parking for the vehicles we arrived with and for my brother to visit us from his home nearby. The location was brilliant for going on day trips with short drives to different beaches, the river, a dinosaur museum and the place of a real dinosaur footprint, which my 4 year old was excited about, and an old copper mine.The villa was a short walk to a local convenience store and a bakery and a short drive to the local town of Infiesto for a larger supermarket and other shops. Other activities we didn't take part in could have included kayaking, climbing and visiting Arriondas, alas there was not enough time. I highly recommend El Pongallin. Thank you!

Immaculate large semi-detached villa in the Picos foothills.
This amazing property in the Picos foothills was ideal for our motorcycling group of friends. There are great views from the patio with an excellent outdoor BBQ facility (with supplied wood) and benches which we made use of 3 times. The property garage has been turned into a games room with (free) Pool, Bar football, Table tennis and darts, there are also other games supplied in the Large comfortable Lounge.
The Spanish only speaking owners that live in the attached property allowed us to put our motorbikes in a separate underground garage and were very helpful. Unfortunately the language barrier did not allow our english only speaking group to get to know them better, but we got by using google translate on our phones using the property Wifi.
The Villa is situated in a small, quiet village about half a mile from the main road through Sevares. Handily for us there was a small cheap local bar 100m from the house in the village which opened till early and was excellent with very friendly bar staff and locals.
There is one bakery, one mini market one good restaurant and a garage on the main road in the town a short distance away.
The local main town is Arriondas for main shopping and an adventure centre with Canoe / Quad bike hire and 'Go Ape' type activities.

Casa con instalaciones y vistas maravillosas
La casa estaba en una ubicación maravillosa y las vistas espectaculares. Los anfitriones muy atentos con nosotros.
Aspectos a mejorar: la casa tiene dos plantas y la cocina está en el sótano, en la zona de juegos y acceso directo al jardín. Nos hubiera gustado que hubiese una cocina en la primera planta y así poder tenerla más a mano del salón o los dormitorios.

Magnifica Casa . INCREIBLE
Los anfitriones viven justo en la casa de al lado. Muy amables , y atentos en cualquier cosa que hemos necesitado . Un 10 .. y la casa igual un 10 . Ultra limpia , cuidada , con todos los detalles para hacer la estancia un lujo .. la parte de juegos , cocina y jardin con barbacoa esta en la parte baja de la casa ... lo que hacia ideal la estancia . Las vistas y la tranquilidad no tiene precio .. Para volver sin lugar a dudas . Ademas de muy bien ubicada. Con servicios muy cerca .

Sensacional en todo sentido
Fuimos 9 Personas (6 mayores y 3 niñas). Estuvimos en todo momento muy agusto. María Eugenia y su marido han estado muy atentos. La casa es una pasada y está muy limpia y bien equipada. Las camas muy cómodas.

10 eko etxea / Una casa de 10
Lau familia joan ginen, 8 nagusi eta 8 ume. Gure seme-alabak bi urte eta 6 urteko umeak dira. Alde batetik,eguraldi kaxkarra izan genuen baina horrela, etxeari probetxu atera genion, gainera etxeak dituen paisaiak izugarri ederrak dira. Beste aldetik, etxeko gelak oso zabalak eta erosok dira baita egongela ere. Eguraldia zela eta, zapatuan etxe barnean egon ginen. Joku gela bat dagoenez, gure seme-alabek han eman zuten eguna futbolinean jolasten, pinponean... Eta txikitxuek be bai,leku zabala denez, bere txokoa eduki zuten. Benetan, 10 eko etxea, ingurune ezin hobean.
Fuimos 4 familias, 8 adultos y 8 niños y niñas de entre 6 y dos añitos. El tiempo no nos acompaño mucho, pero asi pudimos sacarle provecho y disfrutar de la casa y de sus espectaculares vistas. Las habitaciones son comodas y amplias asi como el salon. El sabado pasamos todo el dia en la sala de juegos y los pekes disfrutaron un monton del futbolin. Los mas txikis, tambien tuvieron su espacio de juego y estuvieron muy entretenidos. Una casa de 10, en un entorno inmejorable.

Deze woning biedt de nodige ruimte voor 2 gezinnen. Alles is kraaknet en alles is aanwezig voor een aangenaam verblijf. Je kan er buiten barbecue'n. Het ligt ideaal, tussen de kust en het natuurreservaat 'de picos de europa', waar zeer mooie wandelingen kunnen worden gemaakt. De gastvrouw is heel vriendelijk en heel behulpzaam, het enige nadeel is dat je best spaans spreekt voor een vlotte communicatie. Maar dat losten we op met google translate :-) . Een aanrader !

Muy bien nos gustó mucho el sitio bastante tranquilo y todo los sitios muy próximos a la casa ,lo único al ser un adosado compartido por los dueños como que falta un poco de intimidad , pero gente muy amable así que si recomendaría esta propiedad ya que está también muy bien equipada para cubrir necesidades en vacaciones !!!!!
