Family vacation

This cabin was perfect for us! View, privacy and near the parkway. Comfortable couches and recliner chairs for evening visits. Every bedroom had a king size bed and bathroom- very comfortable.

Close to parkway!

We had a wonderful stay! Cabin was close to parkway, with paved roads and plenty of space to park with 2 SUVs and a truck. We had plenty of space inside for our family of 8 with 2 kids. Cabin was very clean. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to visiting again.

Place was far from luxury as listed. Extremely dirty

First on arrival we had to contact owner due to air conditioning not work. Home was 86 degrees. He did send someone out and cooled next morning. A full night of misery. Drains clogged, extremely dirty, cobwebs inside and out. Home had not been dusted in what looked liked in months. Fan wobbled loudly, lights missing, blinds broken, carpet dirty and worn. This home pricing and advertising listed as luxury....FAR from it! We spent our vacation cleaning. The bed cheaper quality with form cut for top to look luxury but foam kept moving off bed. Bedding worn, walls dirty. It truely would be below average to average. I was expecting clean, updated, luxury as owner advertised. I cleaned it and bought my own cleaning supplies. Still windows could not be reached. Red bugs that owner did not seem surprised to hear about. I was told by bug company it was a red cedar mites, and they can bite. I was offered the small cleaning fee refund if I would not leave a negative review. I am guessing others might have accepted since the prior have been good reviews. I am not sure how long between cleanings but you can scape your nail in the dust it was that old I have stayed at numerous places in the Pigeon Forge area and this was on the lower end. Being honest for the next person that stays there. I told him all my complaints. Hopefully they take that luxury rate they charge and hire cleaners, update carpet, exterminate for bugs, get blinds, wash windows, update beds and bedding.

Great Family Experience

From the time we pulled up to the cabin until we left 5 days later our experience with the stay was exceptional. Everything was clean and sanitized, most comfortable beds you can imagine, relaxing hot tub, awesome views of mountains. Our family of 8 ranged from 18 months to 11 yrs to 20yrs to 40 yrs and 67yrs and there was something to accomodate everyone. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had while there. I would highly recommend this cabin and will definitely go back in the future.

Perfect Birthday Getaway

My sister in law and I share the same birthday so we decided to have a birthday getaway. We were also celebrating our niece getting married in Pigeon Forge on Thursday. Therefore, we had other family members in PF too. The weekend was perfect!!! Upon arrival on Friday, my mom who suffers from stage 4 dementia, was having rough day from the 4 hour drive up. We arrived early and had lunch. I reached out to the property manager to see if we could check in early, about two hours, so we could get my mom settled down. He was very accommodating and allowed us to do so. The cabin was very nice and accommodated us very well. It was nice having ALL 5 bedrooms with ensuite baths!!! OH I forgot to mention location!!! WOW. The location of this cabin to the strip.....AMAZINGLY GREAT!!! It is less than a mile and a half to the strip but just far enough away to be very peaceful and tranquil. If you're familiar with PF you have seen the big white cross. From this cabin you could probably walk to it. You can also see the night lights from the strip very well including the big ferris wheel located in The Island!!! And on the corner of the parkway and Pine Mountain road, where the cabin is located, is the newest Shoney's and we had breakfast there each morning!!! We had a minor issue with the TV because there was three different remotes that controlled it. After about an hour and a half we got it figured out. (Could've been operator error). Later that evening and on Saturday we began noticing some housekeeping issues. I know that most property owners do not inspect their properties and rely solely on their housekeepers to clean as they should and are paid to do and on the renters to keep them in the know about their property. I reached out to the property manager and he was very quick to apologize and let me know this housekeeping crew was new and that he would talk with them. About an hour later he reached back to me and let me know he had taken care of the issues with housekeeping. Upon waking Sunday morning I had received an email from the property manager telling me in lieu of the issues encountered during the stay, to take our time getting packed and ready and not to worry about the checkout time. This was nice especially since we were travelling with three elderly people. I would suggest updating the info/instruction book. I am giving this property and stay 5 Stars and we will definitely be recommending this to others and we will definitely be back!!!
