Cross the road from Patong Beach and you've arrived. You can sit at the bar with a nice cold beer (or two...) and watch the sun go down. When it's time for dinner you can move to the restaurant and select from a variety of Thai and western style dishes. Beware that the prices shown on the menu will have tax and service charges added when you get the bill.
Right on the intersection of Patong beach and Bangla Road. Comfortable rooms, good breakfast, close to virtually everything in Patong. They offer ~20% discount on their restaurant but we never ate there apart from breakfast. The only feedback is that some of their rooms are very dated. Everything works, the beds are comfortable, the AC is great, but the wood finish is very old in some rooms.
The hotel is located near Patong beach and next to the Bangladesh road which is full of bars and hot girls. But the hotel is not good. Air condition takes forever to cool down. The hotel staff is not friendly and helpful. The bellhop won’t push the luggage cart. Since it is close the the road, the room is noisy at night. The breakfast is alrighty yall. But don’t eat lunch or dinner at the hotel, it does not taste good. Next time I go there, I will definitely not stay this hotel
Beautiful, lush setting amid lots of tress and bushes. Like a little oasis in the middle of the city. Great pool, surrounded by the same trees and bushes. Good atmosphere in the room, very inviting, comfortable and romantic. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Excellent bathroom. The hotel is right across the road from the beach and has a very nice on-site restaurant with good food. It is close to all the cheap shopping, and only a short walk to the mall. The only downside, I didn't realise the property backed onto the local nightclub area. If you love clubbing it's great coz you only have to walk around the corner. If you want peace and quiet, not so good. The music goes till at least 4 in the morning. Fortunately it wasn't enough to keep me awake, but it could be a problem for some. I would definitely recommend staying here.
We have been in the hotel for 4 nights and we really enjoy it. In spite it locations (close to the beach and streets), you could feel like isolated in this resort (we stayed facing the pool, which is the inner part of the resort). The rooms were large with all the needed facilities. The pool was quite and a good size one. It location was just near the beach (1 minute walk). Breakfast was in the hotel's restaurant which offered great variety. The only down side is being close to the street noise at night. However, when in the room it is hardly noticed.
Unfortunately the noise was something I stupidly didn’t consider, my fault after all this is party town Patong central. The hotel itself is great value for money, clean and serene gardens. Unfortunately come night time the neighbouring streets are open air night clubs until 4am! The ear plugs did nothing to help the noise. I would have loved this place in my early twenties - but yet I would still recommend this to anyone who loves a night out as it’s great value, just not for me. The food was awesome and chefs special whole small chicken yum!
Great location, nice resort, but very noisey as you would expect being next to Bangla rd. Very nice staff. Food at resort is amazing. Awesome New Zealand steak and also great seafood and Thai food. Would definitely stay here again
Excellent and definetely we will come back again ! People are so nice and always helpful with a smile on their faces ! The honeymoon room in front of the sea is really nice ! The garden is magic ! The food is excellent ! Bravo for the whole staff ! We will come back again ! Karen and Said
My wife, step Son and myself traveled to Phuket Patang Tropica Bungalows hotel on 03/12/2017 until 17/12/2017, We booked this in January 2017 and unfortunately after booking 3 flights were put together to make one and caused a long wait in Dubai ie 12 hours on the airport. We later found out that although Tropica Bungalows had contacted our Company E Dreams (3 times) no reply was relayed. Fortunately just before boarding at Dubai My wife thought about our delay and we emailed the hotel explaining our delay and expected ETA. We arrived via a taxi from the Airport at about 22.30 instead of around 09.00. The freindly reception staff advised that they were close to cancelling our booking, Shocking e dreams , However we checked in and was given room 55 and settled into a comfortable room with double bed 7 sigle bed and bathroom , Also good internet and TV. The hotel is very close to Bangla Road walking street which we were aware of. The room we had was in a good position for the noise og the Bangla road however some rooms are very close and you could be disturbed at night by the nightlife. The staff are friendly but with this I must add that we had isues with the room staff short changing us with bath robes , bath towels and also beach towels. I think this was because we had 3 in the room, However the room supervisor actually coming in to check we were asking for extra because they had left us short was a bit off. However on the whole all staff very friendly and we would definitely use this premises again. We booked trips and the taxi back to the airport all from the hotel, Cannot be faulted on time and reliable. The pool area was always clean and tidy and not over crowded but a little bit over shaded by the treas and the mosquitoes were writhe at night, need coils and sprays extra. Breakfast was well presented and always clean and plentiful. The premises are right opposite the excellent Patong Beach. Weather was good 30-34 during the day we did have a few storms with tropical rain at night but mainly kept to night and days sunny with the sea litterly feeling like a luke warm bath. I will also say that it was noted that my wifes birthday was noticed by the staff and a floral and layout was left on the bed on the day during room cleaning. All in all excellent holiday Thank youTropica Staff and management.
Wonderful food, drinks and service. Thai food is terrific, in a beautiful, clean setting over the road from the beach. Top class with reasonable prices. Most memorable eating place. extremely attractive. a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed.
